  1. Where’s the neg button when you need it.
  2. Season tickets are included in the attendance whether they attend or not, so even if 19k reported it can be significantly less in reality.
  3. Reported as 21,683, but there were considerably fewer than that. Season tickets are counted, whether they turn up or not.
  4. I really hope you’re right.
  5. They should put a QR code by the PACT logo. If it wasn’t for comments on here I wouldn’t know PACT was a charity. People walking past might scan a code that goes straight to a donation page.
  6. I really think it's a race against time between HMRC filing a winding up petition which leads to a last minute reprieve with buyer on the steps of the high court like Milan, or us passing the date we have to assure the EFL we're able able to fulfil our fixture for the upcoming season. Given the statement yesterday, I just don't see DC selling until the very last moment, but am confident there would be folk willing to buy us and help us recover, but if this doesn't happen before we have to make assurances to the EFL we can fulfil our fixtures, they could kick us out before we get that far.
  7. I’d still watch games on TV, but I likely wouldn’t go to a game again.
  8. I agree, it's very similar to what happened with Music (Napster), iTunes made it affordable so people moved to a more reliable source, this evlolved to streaming with Spotify etc. TV and Movies too with their streaming services. If you look at each of these and the sheer amount of entertainment you could get for what you pay each month, it makes what viewers have to pay for Sky/TNT etc seem even more overpriced. It's no suprise people use dodgy Firesticks instead. If a football streaming package could be provided at a reasonable price on, where you can easily opt in or out rather than having to sign up for the year, then it will be something a lot of people would sign up to.
  9. If they’re prepared to share details with a podcast host, it would be nice if the would also share with either The Star writers, or the Radio Sheffield folks to confirm their claims. I’ve no reason to doubt either Symon, or the host (sorry don’t recall his name), but reputable journalists confirming the documentation, people etc would lend more weight to the claims.
  10. The best player I’ll ever get to see in a Wednesday shirt. I’m lucky I had the chance.
  11. I’d be more concerned by Dortmund sacking their boss and some German dominos falling.
  12. What’s wrong with these players? Ultimately nothing more or less than any other mid to lower table championship team. They have ability as they’ve shown recently and even in the first half but they’re playing at the level they are because they’re inconsistent and can throw in performances like the second half too. It’s just what comes from being where we are unfortunately.
  13. The concern is he's thinking not much is needed to go from the approx 9th under Danny to do this over a season and finish 6th.
  14. Would that be our only pen of the season?
  15. Excellently timed treatment today.
  16. Switched over to Spurs Man City at half time. The difference in the pace they play at was ridiculous, it looked like we were playing a different sport (yes, I know there far better etc).
  17. And that’s why he plays for a bottom end Championship, upper end League One side. If he was more consistent he’d be playing higher up.
  18. It was just a joke by John Brewin, but the fact he used Danny Röhl as the random name is an example of the good work he’s doing starting to get noticed in the wider football community.
  19. Fully support the aims of the group, just not too sure on their approach. I’ve always found protests like this a bit odd, unless you subsequently don’t enter the ground and watch the match. If 1867 members are no longer attending matches a ban isn’t really of any concern either is it.
  20. Apparently half time subs don’t count towards the three substitutions. https://www.pnefc.net/news/2023/june/nine-substitutes-introduced-ahead-of-202324-campaign/
  21. Great minds, posted at the same time.
  22. Have the rules changed? I thought you could have up to 5 subs but had to use them in no more than three substitution intervals (don’t know how better to describe) unless a concussion sub. We had 4 separate substitutions to bring on our five subs. Didn’t notice a concussion unless Byers was.
  23. a) Haven’t bothered to do the maths, but a statistically significant sample of the fan base. What that’s considered I don’t know. Season tickets, full house, members etc. 2k+ I think would be a strong indicator. b) Honestly don’t think any figure would convince DC, the only thing that will convince him is someone coming in with an offer he’s prepared to accept.
  24. Until this past weekend, Marv.
