  1. Always quite liked the Chupa Chups logo, personally. Think it looks best on that white shirt than the home ones.
  2. Feels harsh, this thread. Fusire in any other season would be out on loan. I think he's done OK, personally. McNeil is an odd one. He's looked OK in some games and not great in others. Decision making is an issue. Again, would probably be out on loan if things were different. Ugbo is an odd one. It just hasn't worked out. Still feel he needs a run of starts. The loss of a lot of our wide players and best crossers from the last 18 months doesn't help. All in all though, we're just not a good enough side. It feels harsh to lay too much blame at any of the players.
  3. It's one of those things. It's unfortunate for their player, but ultimately nobody did anything wrong. It's one of those things in football where you're annoyed, but there really isn't anyone to blame. Players played to the whistle; the referee stuck to the rules. If it was the other way round, I might bemoan our luck, but I don't think I'd be angry about it.
  4. Agree. Everything feels pointless at the moment. Heard Saturday's game described as a "big game" the other day and I just thought, is it? It feels like a pointless exercise at the moment (protest aside). It's not Henrick's fault, it's not the players' fault, it's not the fans fault. It's all the clueless idiot at the top.
  5. Chansiri's name won't be on the shirt in FM15. Unless you've downloaded a 15/16 kit pack?
  6. Personally think it makes United's board look really weak. It was an odd decision to swap Wilder for Selles anyway. Annoyingly I think it will have the desired effect.
  7. Anyone who plays FM will have experienced this in the game. For me it's no better than what we have now. Like the OP says, possibly doesn't effect us but even so, not a fan.
  8. Everything from kick off V Peterborough in the 2n leg through to walking away from the Civic Reception. Wonderful.
  9. Yeah, I get that. My point is that I don't believe it'd be enough to convince people. It'd need to be official. We're past the point "well it looks like" or "so and so says it'll be done".
  10. If people have decided not to renew/buy a season ticket until Chansiri is gone, then I don't think him saying he's going to sell/agreed a sale/however he phrases it will be enough for most of those people. It'll only be enough when he's confirmed to be gone. Which, I don't will come from him agreeing to sell.
  11. Don't mind the band. Danny really didn't do anything wrong post January's fans forum. (If it were me I'd have handed my resignation in the morning after).
  12. The key aspects for me are: Understanding the club they have bought and the area it is in. Having a short, medium and long term plan. We don't need to know every detail but the rough structure would be nice. At least an aim to invest in the youth academy and youth facilities Sensible recruitment (when allowed) looking for value in the market. Taking chances of lower league options, for example .Other clubs seem to do this well, there is no reason why we couldn't. Engagement with fans in the right way. Not just box-ticking meetings with nothing to come from them. Various examples over years of good things club used to do that have faded away. Round pegs in round holes. A director of football (of whatever term you wish to use), head of recruitment to work with the manager for example and a commercial director Basically all the things the idiot who owns it now never did.
  13. Too associated with United. They would only accuse us of copying.
  14. Been saying since the first payment issue that I'd take a season of getting battered week in, week out if it meant getting rid of Chansiri. I'd like a new era to begin in the Championship, of course. But it's unrealistic to expect us to stay up. Squad doesn't have enough quality and depth. This is before you consider a points deduction.
  15. And a miles bigger job than I think most realise.
  16. Probably because the wage bill is a lot lower.
  17. This is how I've felt for a while. He won't leave of his own volition. I think that's been clear for ages.
  18. The phrase "You take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink" comes to mind. I think Milan probably went in thinking he could talk him round, but this isn't a "willing seller/willing buyer thing" as it was 10 years ago. I don't think anyone is going to talk Chansiri round to selling for a reasonable price. Only way I see it ending is him being forced out. Hopefully by the regulator deeming him unfit. But that feels like a long way off at the moment.
  19. Can't see him leaving England. Personally, I think he'll give it as long as he possibly can. If he doesn't sign a contract here, then I could see someone like Coventry being in for him.
  20. Because he had criminal charges abroad. So the EFL could act. I don't think anyone knows the legality of the situation with the North Stand. I expect that will all come out in the coming weeks and months. For what it's worth, I totally agree it should be enough.
  21. Do we really need more threads asking this question? The EFL have no power to remove Chansiri. They can only do what they have been doing. Look at Reading; they recommended Dai Yongge be suspended for 12 months. The Independent Commission (think that's the right thing) said no to that. So even if they did that with DC, there is no guarantee anything would happen anyway.
  22. He won't read it. He won't reply. He doesn't care.
  23. I remember at lot of people defending that at the time.
  24. Why would away fans give a throw? I imagine the likes of the blades might well buy an extra drink or pie or whatever to add to the matchday income.
