I was working an Event that he was attending a couple weeks back. Got chatting to him, told him I was a Wednesday fan and he said he couldn't stand Chansiri. He called him a joker and a waste of space. Don't think he'd be in a rush to come back tbh

Who???? If there's one silver lining to come from the sh*show we currently find ourselves in, it's seeing young lads like this work their testicles off to prove they deserve a chance in the 'big boy game'. Something we might not have seen otherwise! Reyt proud of the showings both tonight and last Saturday

Wherever you go in a Wednesday shirt you're definitely maybe gonna have someone comment on it. I've been at faithless in Scarborough tonight and I can't get no sleep because of what's going on atm

Not saying everyone has to say they like it. But the amount of negativity on this thread regarding a lad who's clearly trying to do something to build some morale, isn't the way I'd expect Wednesdayites to treat each other. -

I'm proud to be a Wednesday fan but I didn't create the club... -

For me, any *clearly talented* Wednesdayite attempting to express themselves should be universally supported within our fan base, not reputed - regardless of individual opinion on the piece itself. Especially since the majority of fans have been calling for unity in regards to chansiri recently. Just doesn't seem the Wednesday way imo -

This is perhaps the only thing we've had to be proud of / be positive about in months and we're slating a local artist. I think this attempt at injecting a bit of colour into the black and white clouds we've had hanging over us recently should be celebrated rather than slating it.- 112 replies

Sounds like something someone who couldn't get tickets would say! That being said though I am typing this in my tent after not sleeping for 48 hours and smelling so bad I'd give a skunk a run for his money.

I'm in my Wednesday shirt today and had at least 15 people give me the classic 'WAWAW' greeting while I've been walking round the festival! Not seen a single blunts shirt yet. Massive!

SWFC Sheffield Walmart Football Club Got a ring to it. Better than Redbull Wednesday

Agreed, doesn't hit chansiri in his pocket, doesn't garner the same attention that things like flags/banners etc would. However, it's a good start and if things like this continue and evolve throughout the remaining fixtures, it's bound to put extra pressure on chansiri and the efl

Is anything actually going to happen?
mr g 1999 replied to ThisCityIsOurs88's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I think any of the things you mentioned would have great affect on him. The problem is getting the majority of fans to sing from the same hymn sheet. Ultimately, if the club has no income, he has no reason to stay and would be forced to relinquish control -

A boycott would hit him in his pocket, seems like the best way to oust him imo.- 101 replies

That's what I'm trying to do mate, just need the troops to gather

Is a 2-0 throwaway lead enough?

Patience will be the thing that kills us Action is needed I don't get how people can't see this
-
I've not renewed, because of chansiri A lot of my mates have done the same If we want to make our feelings known we need to vote with our feet. Now the majority of the fan base is onside it feels like an ideal opportunity but nothing is being done. The lads on radio Sheffield have been practically screaming for us to protest and boycott for months but I struggle to understand why we haven't?

F**king hell 500 odd views on this thread and only a handfull of replies. And we wonder why our fan base can't unify to make a stand against this dictator!? What's needed? Gary megson with a megaphone on the roof of the city hall to unite fans to sing from the same hymn sheet? WAWAW? Let's work together to get this c*nt out of s6
-
Regardless whether a boycott works or not. There's surely got to be ways we can all get together to hit chansiri where it hurts
-
I get what your saying. However, the point I'm making Is that there's no real demonstration being held against chansiri and I don't get why? Why hasn't the suggestion of a boycott even been put forward by groups like 1867? Hitting DC in his pocket is obviously gonna hurt him more than us changing our pictures on owlstalk
