  1. That's not an argument, it's just contradiction.
  2. I don't know enough about the background to this but it all feels a little bit pie in the sky. How much actual substance is there to this plan? We see major redevelopment plans touted all the time that either never gets spades in the ground or get massively pared down so they barely resemble the original plan, God knows we've seen enough of that kind of thing in Sheffield alone. There's something that doesn't sit quite right with all of this to me, feels a bit too good to be true......
  3. They won't be going on a more general sale than they are now (and have been since last week). You don't need any points to buy now but you must be on the clubs ticketing system and have made a purchase in the last few years ( I think 5 but not sure on that).
  4. He'll post what he wants......he'll post what he waaaants.....Ian on owlstalk, he'll post what he wants.
  5. I think this is the key point. The administrator is not there to make gestures of goodwill that will pay off over the ensuing months /years with repeat business, they are just trying to make as much money as possible over the short time they are here. Cheap tickets are solely to maximise as much revenue as possible over the next 2 months, not a reward for fans. This is something that would be better directed at new owners as and when they take over.
  6. According to the website they're on sale now to anyone with an id and a ticket purchase in the last 5 years and have been since the lep went on sale. You're not going to get more general sale than that for this fixture.
  7. Whilst your selections are good examples of the genre, how can you have a list of Wednesday mavericks and not include Di Canio? The man's middle name is maverick (may not be true). He racked up more maverick behaviour in that one game against Arsenal than the three on your list put together and that before you even begin to talk about how he played football. Just ask Paul Alcock and Nigel Winterburn, I reckon he still appears in the nightmares of both to this day.
  8. This is the pricing of the 90s!!!
  9. Look at those members prices! It's like going back to the 90s.
  10. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2025/november/14/owls-launch-four-game-ticket-bundle/?t=wYYsQcCZqq9Z1QissLJ1lQ&s=09 Absolute bargain.
  11. Stick a price tag on him. You never know, someone who's had a couple too many on a Christmas do might buy him.
  12. Now you're talking.
  13. Don't they usually come out 3 weeks before? That coupled with the aforementioned potential ticket packages is probably why theyre not out yet. I would have thought there'll be some announcements over the next couple of days. Patience grasshopper, the admin boys have got a lot to get through.
  14. I don't agree with that in the workplace
  15. There's already one of those in Brussels
  16. PROOOOOGRAMMES THREE QUID!!!
  17. Hey Mr stickler for the facts. Any response to the above posts? And this doesn't even include the money those extra 6000 people will spend in the ground/club shop? Obviously you like being a contrarian. That's fine but if you're going to die on a hill at least make it a remotely defendable one.
  18. Well if one of the greatest atmospheres of recent times is par we don't have much chance do we?
  19. And Smith, and Musaba, and Gassama. Weve had every single effective attacking outlet bar Bannan from last season ripped out of the squad and replaced with......literally nothing. When you look at it in that context, HP is working miracles keeping this squad competitive in games IMO. Lowe and Ugbo were nowhere near the standard required last season and now they're starting almost every game. That alone shows the magnitude of the task for this team to score goals. Cadamarteri definitely has something about him and will develop into a decent striker but he needs just a little bit of quality alongside him at this stage of his career and we just don't have that in the squad.
  20. Tbh I thought he made the right choice. The situation he was in was basically impossible anyway. If he goes, he's unlikely to get there and very likely to take the striker out. The fault for the goal lies with Max Lowe if anyone. He gets drawn in to Sargent instead of holding his line allowing him to get the run on him. It's also a great run and pass to pick him out from their perspective. Whilst it wasn't perfect defending, I think as much credit has to go to the attackers as anything.
  21. It's not raining now and the forecast says dry and minimum 14c. It is however a Wednesday night. In all seriousness though whatever the final attendance figure this has been a superb effort by all involved to get this game so well attended given the circumstances and I doubt many other clubs fan base would have been able to influence goings on as much as we have over the last couple of weeks. Sellout or not it's a great showcase of what this fantasy is capable of with just the tiniest glimpse of a positive future.
