Absolutely this, apart from Pudil, he plays for Handsworth now. I think Northern Premier level is a bit much for him at his age.
There's certainly space for both on my footballing life. The experience at Hallam will never replace the visceral emotion of following Wednesday and as soon as he's gone I'll be back like a shot, but it's a really good way to reconnect with the roots of what football should be, particularly in these mad times. TBH, for me it's given me just enough of a boost to keep connected with football over the last couple of years. Without it I may well have fallen out of love with the game altogether.
