Players considering strike action
BingleyOwl replied to Dexter Morgan's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This needs to happen. -
Rob Staton on the current state of SWFC

I think it’ll all come out in the wash… -
SWFC to update fans on North Stand movement tomorrow
BingleyOwl replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This is a very strange time. The Club are facilitating the boycott for us! I’ve just been on the website to look at ticket sales, and there’s no function to buy tickets (I am logged on). I am absolutely abstaining from attending home games, so have no intention to buy. -
This is the first time that this information has reported! We’re obviously fairly up-to-date due to reliable ITK posters on here, but this is the first time that Textor and Harris’ names have been reported by an official media outlet. This is a big step!

Of course he didn’t. He’s gone.

Why are there still Wednesdayites supporting DC?
BingleyOwl replied to Lee Strafford's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Oh absolutely, and you’re thinking very logically about it. But we all know that logic does not apply with our esteemed owner. He needs to know that the entire fanbase want ride of him. We ALL want him gone. Look at the other thread regarding Chansiri negotiating a player sale with Wrexham - supposedly Smith. He went and scored his first goal of the season and Chansiri’s asking price immediately doubled! He’s completely illogical! -

There’s no problem in discussing it. But, assuming that Chansiri’s people read this forum, I don’t think it’s a good idea to publicise that there are still Chansiri supporters within the fanbase. -

Whatever you say big bad Mr Owlstalk! -
Why are there still Wednesdayites supporting DC?
BingleyOwl replied to Lee Strafford's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I think they are. We know how deluded and flippant the owner is. We know his people read this forum. Threads like this could easily influence his decision to sell the club. This forum must absolutely and purely reflect the distain that our fanbase feels towards him. -

I think threads like this are dangerous to our cause of wanting Chansiri out… -
Football goes in cycles. Thirty years feels like a lifetime, but in the grand scheme of things, it isn’t. We’re due our turn. And by the law of averages, our turn is coming. Who knows how the English footballing landscape will look in the next 50 years. The potential of SWFC hasn’t been seen in the modern era of football. We haven’t yet capitalised on the increase in population, nor the exponential growth in demand for football. This has all happened whilst we’ve been sleeping in the lower leagues. SWFC has huge potential. I think this is the reason we’re attracting interest from multi-billionaires.

Textor interest CONFIRMED but…
BingleyOwl replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Regardless of the NDA, potential bidders will never publicly disclose that they are in discussions to buy the Club. It’s basic negotiation! -

Just a quick question - if Textor has, in fact, spoken to the Club, would you expect him to disclose this to the journalist? -
David Richards (not THAT one)
BingleyOwl replied to thebizzle's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Who knows, really. My opinion is that discussions are advanced. And much of the EFL side of things is probably done. -
David Richards (not THAT one)
BingleyOwl replied to thebizzle's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Well, to me, that’s all we’ve got - some incredible intangible assets. We’ve got very little else. It would be a fantastic achievement to wake up this historic, sleeping giant of a football club. An opportunity that many would love a shot at, I’m sure. -
David Richards (not THAT one)
BingleyOwl replied to thebizzle's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Whilst potential new owners are literally that, ‘potential’, they don’t have any control over the operation. Therefore, the Club will continue to wash its own face however necessary. As I have said many times, new owners are only interested in our intangible assets - potential, history, fanbase, name, tradition, brand. They’re not bothered about a few half- rate players leaving. -

Fingers crossed! -

Wrong! The Bizzle actually said that Bannan didn’t want to sign whilst DC was the owner. Bannan signing a new contract on Friday, and this update from The Bizzle today, could well be linked… -

Very happy about this! Dave Richards as Chairman. Textor as owner. Bring it on! The Bizzle, thank you! -
Cheers Herbie!

I misread the post I was replying to. I thought the post referred to ‘conspiracy theory’.
