  1. Everyone to there own,but that twohat C..tsiri,does not geta penny from me and my sons and daughter ever again. My Youngest lad stood in the park with me first home game of the season, not the way we wanted it to be,but it's our way of defiance
  2. I have no season ticket, neither as my young lad at 12,always been members but not this year. My eldest lad is a season ticket holder. We all protested in the park together and at 2:30,eldest went in the ground to support the team,as he had already given that man his money. Me and young one stayed in the park and enjoyed our time with the small group that remained there untill half time. I think if you have already given him your money, please do go in and support the team,if you are a potg person, please don't do it. Also why pay a penny in the ground on food and drink, plenty available around the ground before and after. It hurt telling my young un for the good of our club, untill HE sells up,that we will not be watching any home game soon. He understands but you see in his face how much it was hurting. If a 12 year old can bite the bullet for a few months over maybe a lifetime why can a few more adults do it. Many thanks to those that spoke to him in the park yesterday.
  3. Many great memories also as many bad ones but, 1983 v Man City at Maine Road,winning2-1,sell out crowd,Wednesday fans going berserk when Varadi scored both goals, don't think City were used to set of fans giving it back to them. Naughty but raiding all local off licences of alcohol,, The bit of grieve I got tho or did untill she passed away, was it was my sister's wedding day,had champagne breakfast with her then dashed off to catch coach, returned around 8pm at the reception, for me and Owls mates to totally take over. Ps never got on with my brother in law, worse than being a pig,he actually did and still does not like football
  4. Saw at least 3 lads pulled, shoved and made to leave before half time. Very heavy handed stewarding,8 stewards to remove one lad,he was telling them to back off and he would leave but they were aggressive with him, stood up for himself and did not appear drunk or on drugs. Then had supervisors taking statements at half time in that area. Lads thrown out go to most games and seen them at away games. Very strange going ons
  5. Said to my son's on Sunday, why are we at a Sheffield derby ,and the only time fans sing together is hi ho...... at start if game. Sit near back of kop ,to the left of the "band",and it was clear that from row M downwards, they were sat on there hands in near silence for most part. Lads, lasses adults around us were at it all game, supporting vocally. Too many people now, watch football, and disagree with showing passion for the club. Closing T sections would dampen the atmosphere more,as a bit of banter with away fans as always been good. As a fan who as seen so many changes over 40years in the behaviour and attitude of football fans,I would just say... A) Go and support your team as passionately as you can B)if you want to watch your team but don't want a bit of banter or tribalism, watch it on TV in comfort C)just cos some fans go over the top at games, let's not throw our own fanbase under a bus, just think we were all young and a bit daft years ago. Wawaw??
  6. Trying now online, only bringing Sunderland game up?
  7. Well done Southie Thank you Duncan Idaho for your time and effort
  8. Police from Northern Ireland and the customary Durham constabulary, why can't SYP deal with this game? Ps son was in Cavendish before game, and didn't see anything bar bottle throwing and usual dancing on there walk to ground. Very quiet after he said
  9. Brought them out with about 10 mins left to play, young uns loved em
  10. Went to club also, took two young uns, excellent facilities, some good characters and a few annoying blunts, only when they scored, good shout whoever posted location. Ps free burgers a good touch
  11. Cheers Dunc, thanks for your time
  12. Too many changes again, does he know his strongest starting 11? Cmon Wednesday prove me wrong
  13. The whole football experience of today feels alot more tedious and unentertaining from years ago. Dislike the fact, most goal kicks take 3/4 passes before even leaving the 18yd box. The faking of injuries to disrupt play 5 subs, more time wasted Var ,even if right decision made ,takes too long Fan experience... All seater stadiums, kill atmosphere Overpriced Too many prawn sandwich supporters
  14. Got back from Benidorm on lads holiday that morning,to see us destroy Cloughies team and finished day off in town in shorts and cheesy holiday t shirts, day some of still around talk about every opening day
