  1. The clamour for Ashley just shows how absolutely dreadful it’s got under Chansiri. Grim
  2. So in order to fully support the cause you have to be on the streets volunteering or donating money? It’s this sort of narrative that causes further divide. Literally criticising someone who has said they are in support of the group isn’t a way to win people over.
  3. This thread sums up the problem for me. It’s now become a totally divisive subject but the issue people are divided on isn’t actually the chairman anymore. Nobody actually wants to listen to one another, we’ve got people with opposite opinions abusing each other, fans being spat on and people on social media comparing the situation to domestic abuse. It feels like we’ve hit a low point this weekend, surely collectively we can do better than this?
  4. In a world where we didn’t have Beadle and Charles was playing behind our defence this season. Wed be seeing threads like this saying that he’s not ready yet and questioning why we didn’t bring in a keeper during the Summer. Many had similar opinions about Wildsmith and Dawson when they were coming through after Westwood.
  5. More potential based on what? A handful of cup games. Beadle has been with the England U21s this season and trained with the first team squad. I’m not sure that happens to someone who lacks the basics. I mean look at the goals again last night. Nakhi Wells being unmarked in the centre of the 6 yard box has nothing to do with who’s in net. That’s been the story of our season. In the few games Iv seen Charles he has looked really promising but to suggest we’d be any better off with him in goal than Beadle is way off the mark.
  6. I’m pretty certain he’s won us more points than cost us this year. It’s baffles me that people think Beadle is the problem when my eyes have nearly bled watching Ugbo for 90 minutes.
  7. Looks inevitable that Smith won’t be here at the end of January. Seems absolutely criminal we’d let him go with the options we’ve got available.
  8. I can’t believe that im reading people saying they thought Ugbo had a good first half. He’s played 26 league games without a goal or an assist. What other measurement are we assessing his performances on. He looks absolutely lost and nothing like the player we had last year.
  9. The team lacks depth and quality. You only have to look at the players that came off the bench. We are massively over achieving with this squad. There’s absolutely no chance we make the playoffs unless we bring players in.
  10. Whilst pretty much all of the blame lies with the chairman, it’s hard to look past the three fellas sat next to him. Between them they’ve been responsible for the day to day operation of the club for years. They’re all responsible for turning us into a bit of a laughing stock.
  11. It’s hard to believe we actually have two blokes titled Director of Comms and General Manager that oversee this sort of stuff. It’s an absolute circus!
  12. Im not sure if losing Shea Charles is an over reaction. He’s been influential to our success this season.
  13. It’s definitely run its course. The worst part about this point is that the clubs director of communications is sat right next to him at the forum. If any other business stumbled from PR disaster to PR disaster like Sheffield Wednesday then surely the person responsible for communications would be one of the first to be brought into question. If they were genuinely concerned some of the questions or answers would be misunderstood or misinterpreted then surely suggesting an interpreter for these events would be sensible. That doesn’t mean they have to answer everything for the chairman but in the cases where it’s evident points are lost in translation. Sadly they probably have considered it but I think not having one plays in there favour. They can continue to use language as of way of suggesting points haven’t been understood.
  14. The top table set the tone for the evening last night. They spoke of lack of respect from some of the fans towards the chairman, yet spent the evening scoffing at questions, laughing at suggestions and sharing phone messages between themselves. On a couple of occasions not even listening to the questions asked. They brought no evidence of any sort of plan or organisational structure and not once did any of them say thanks for the comments we’ll take them on board. They are a complete waste of time and don’t offer anything remotely positive.
  15. It’s not WWE
