On the flip side to that, does anyone think he can build a case that he should be left to run a football club?

Early Bird Season Tickets - not permitted?
Beany71 replied to Rotherham Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
That’s the thing, even if you are definitely getting one, you can wait until the last minute. He wouldn’t be able to fund us till the end of the season. Stay strong and we will win! -
Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough - How Many Tickets Left?
Beany71 replied to BIG D's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The biggest thing for me is that that an empty stadium would show the world unity amongst the fan base and that everyone wants him gone. If 10k turn up, it still looks like a lot of the fans are not that bothered if he stays, even if that's not the case. -
He's coming for you, he's coming for you David Logan,

While your right, surely the regulator will realise the club may not have months or years. If it drags on and the club folds it wouldn't look good. I don't think he can keep this going so long before everything collapses. If the powers are there I would expect a swift conclusion. -

Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
Beany71 replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Apologies if I’ve read it wrong, I still stand by do what is right for you, I won’t renew my season ticket if he’s here and Saturdays with my son is what I live for. Anyone who renews would get no argument or grief from me. I will do it as it’s what I think is right. -
Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
Beany71 replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Then go to the Middlesbrough game. i go to all away games, but won’t spend a penny in the ground, won’t buy home cup tickets and won’t renew my season ticket. If that means I can’t go away next season so be it. Tired of people moaning about away fans and using it as an excuse. We all want him out and people should do what they feel is right for themselves , not because he or she is doing something. All a post like this does is cause division amongst the fan base. -
To everyone that went on the pitch
Beany71 replied to Portland owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Thank you, I am proud and also jealous of you all. i was sat watching and 90% of me wanted to join in but that sensible 10% was holding me back. As I said I think this will only get bigger. thank you again from me and hopefully everyone else. WAWAW enough is enough -
To everyone that went on the pitch

Brilliant by the fans who went on. We could do with some feedback from those that went on about their experiences. Did they just get ushered back to the seats, kicked out, banned. Did the police get involved etc. This will then hopefully dispel all the fears people have and encourage more next time, this will only grow in my opinion. -
This is the thing, the talk of it will cause as much as a problem as going on. The club will have to have loads of extra security around the pitch, they won't know if or when it will happen so they have to be prepared. The commentators are obviously are to talk about it. Whether it does or doesn't it's sort of a win!

We were talking about this last night. For me rather than a points deduction hit us with a hefty fine as this way it's increasing his financial burden and pushing him closer to the edge. If we had say 3 or 4 x £200k fines this would make it virtually impossible form him to carry on. They could hit us every season with a 12 point deduction and he wouldn't be bothered, it's only in the pocket that will affect him.
-
We all just want him gone, that's the bottom line, 'how we going to get there I don't know, how we going to get there I don't care....' Have a good one pal.
-
But the Hierarchy should keep quiet? As I said it needs everyone. (tongue in cheek Mdb)
-
The points don't come into it either as you don't get those till the following season. If we stand our ground he won't last till the start of the new season when you can renew with a new owner. No excuse not to renew really.

We seem more bothered about arguing with each other than the real enemy. I didn't go. my mate did - so what. I did what I think was right as did he. Will will be out for a beer at the weekend discussing everything Wednesday, there's no malice. Hopefully he will evntually agree with me but until then I will concentrate on what I can affect and not what someone else is doing. and for the record I think it's the majority are on board and I think it's working, keep it up! Or why not re-join now when it’s needed and leave in the future if it’s not for you? They need as many as possible now and take the fight to Chumpsiri.

The fan base seems to be be more fascinated about who is and is not protesting rather than the actual protest. Delph Boy must be laughing his head off. You aren't going to stop everyone buying tickets, pints etc. Just ignore it and carry on doing your thing, all the infighting does is undo all the good work the trust and everyone else is doing. It may be slowly, but it's getting noticed and I thing it's working. Also, if you don't want to protest, that's fine but let everyone who does get on with it and stop moaning, booing etc. It's being done for the good of the club and it's future not just because we've been playing crap. All the focus should be on getting him out and not each others point of view!

This is the problem. The fans are to busy having digs at each rather than concentrating on what they do themselves (not having a go at you Matt). You are never going to get the whole fanbase doing the same thing. People will always have a drink/pie, go to leeds etc, away matches. So be it, let them ignore it and concentrate on what you are doing, you can't affect others. The infighting will get worse otherwise and destroy all the good that the Trust and everyone is doing. If i was Chumpsir I would be reading social media, sitting back and laughing as he will see the cracks appearing. Just do your thing and keep the pressure on, don't deflect it on to the few who don't.

I can never understand why Paixo doesn't get much grief, it seems he's as much to blame in all this somewhere along the line. Does he attend matches still, as he seems t have an easy ride?
-
For me, it's not about Chansiri. I think it puts more pressure on the EFL. I watched the Trust meeting the other night who said that after their meeting with the EFL they were not interested and were not going to save us. All of a sudden it hits the national media and they are now beating their chest and putting strong statements out. I suspect if the world wasn't watching, that statement never happens.

Maybe he is paving the way for an influx of Forest players coming to Hillsborough on loan, Alex Mighton anyone?
