  1. I imagine the outcome of the charges is being delayed because the EFL need to give enough chances to hear from the illusive Dejphon himself. Though I've heard we may hear something re: points deductions this month.
  2. It'll be less than 20 - if any at all.
  3. Will win Player of the Season by a landslide.
  4. Result doesn't matter Just more experience for the young talent.
  5. Left Unsold - 10, 338 Still great numbers, but still left BAFFLED as to how even 138 tickets have been sold in two days. Who has seen the news in the last 48 hours and thought...yeah...i'll have some of that.
  6. NORTH (£41) - 2198 SOUTH £46 - 1631 GRANDSTAND £38 - 1108 KOP £36 - 5401
  7. Think this is because we'd just beaten Portsmouth & Yan made a point of saying it's always nice to win at Fratton Park.
  8. & yet he's survived multiple managers/ownerships/eras/leagues. He's always fit. He can & will fill in multiple positions. He's a leader in the dressing room. I also disagree on his best season. He won POTY in 2013/14 season ffs. There's a reason he's been a constant. Yes, we're now probably at a stage of beggars can't be choosers - but it would genuinely be a real shame if Liam didn't finish his career here, regardless of our current squad state making him a necessity. As well as that, in an era when we're trying to blood through youngsters...having Liam Palmer around them is invaluable in terms of giving them a proper role model.
  9. He's come in during an impossible situation, doing his best. Could have easily told us to bugger off. Really not a fair thread. Is he Pierce Charles? No. Does it matter? Also no. would we have lost today with Buffon in net? Probably.
  10. I'm really not arguing I'm just a fan saying how it's come across to me. If it's come across to me a bit negatively, it'll come across to others the same. And we can't afford for groups organising protests to come across negatively.
  11. But I'm not saying splintering off as a negative, per say? I'm actually agreeing with you? Perhaps splintering is the wrong word, I just can't think of an alternative. I'm just saying if they're doing it, for the reason of which you say (doing things the trust can't) - then be clear on that, and have a specific point to whatever is organised going forward. In terms of egos, my worry is that this failed attempt will only come across as ego getting in the way of an actually well organised effort.
  12. Then my advice to them would be to actually plan something worth following for the section of fans who want something radical that the trust will never be able to back, ie: broaching the pitch, or a sit in after the game, whatever. Teddies wasn't it, and they had enough people (myself included) telling them days ago that the SCH wouldn't be able to accept them as a donations. I'm trying my best to be constructive. There needs to be a specific reason for them splintering off slightly, like you said.
  13. Entirely get the premise behind that thought. But the trust could have endorsed this protest. If the 1867 Group want to be the bad boys of the fan groups, by all means they should go for it.
  14. I supported 1867 Group last season, I really did. And I support protests. But this was poorly planned and thought out. I feel like it was a lot of ego of WANTING to be seen to do something bigger & better than The Trust, hiding behind the SCH as their why behind it. I honestly do. Splinter groups creating protests, at this club, will not work. It needs thousands for things to create an impact. The Trust should be the only ones leading the way for protests imo. If you have an idea, take it to them.
  15. I feel like Horvath would have twatted one into the roof of the net.
  16. Usually buy a membership, plus both shirts. Would have gone to at least three games this season with my partner. £350-£400.
  17. The guy is Liam Cooper, who we were strongly linked to. If the account isn't talking bobbins, then hopefully Cooper is still confident a deal can be done for him.
  18. Wednesdayite have pulled out of the Panel
  19. Horvath Gui Weaver Otegbayo Emery Johnson Fusire Shipston Thornton Grainger Ugbo (c)
  20. I want to clarify, that I'm not in charge of any groups. Just an active, passionate member. Ie: I'm not part of any meetings. I'm also a member of The Trust. I agree that the majority of what the Trust are wanting re: the meeting is fair & should be achievable. Emphasis on the would should. I don't think streaming it on the WTID podcast is something the club will ever bend to. However, I don't agree with group bashing/fan bashing - especially when the fans/groups getting bashed in particular are putting in a hell of a lot of work behind the scenes to push the club forwards without DC in charge. Fans criticising other fans isn't ever going to work. If this club, heaven forbid, ceased to exist, we would have a HELL of a mission getting a phoenix club off the ground because of too much pulling in different directions.
