  1. Good. I haven't been yet this season and I've had a season ticket every year since 1986, including this one. I miss it but fizz him. Will quite likely boycott every week until the shithouse has gone. I want a stadium with no home fans in and I can't bring myself to go against that. WAWAW
  2. So sorry to read this. RIP Nev.
  3. Just watched it back and he didn't start to go for it at all. But yeah, you blame him pal.
  4. This one. Bring it back please.
  5. Still waiting to see if my card is enrolled for online authentication FFS. Been like this for 48 minutes now. t'd be easier to book a three week package holiday in North Korea.
  6. I had a season ticket there a couple of years or so ago but I was only able to attend about 8 or 9 games because they were very often at home when Wednesday were. As a Wednesday season ticket holder, I wasn't gonna miss us for them. Crowds tended to be higher when we were away than when we were playing at Hillsborough.
  7. Probably John Quinn when my mum took me to his shop for my first Wednesday kit. Assuming that was him in there. I was only about 6. But if not, then my first was Mel Sterland. He used to live on our street when I was a kid and although I never saw him out and about other than in his car, I desperately wanted to meet him. One Sunday afternoon - the world snooker final was on the telly I remember that - I went and stood outside his house for 15 minutes staring at him watching the tv . He got up, opened the front door and glared at me so I trotted up his path and asked for his autograph. He obliged, bless him and off I went. I’m still embarrassed about it now FFS. If you’re reading this Mel, I’m sorry mate.
  8. Sorry, something to do with fists.
  9. Something to do with fisting.
  10. It’s not Chansiri’s fault that people are morons. It IS Chansiri’s fault that we don’t deal with morons properly. it’s his club. He needs to deal with it.
  11. Ah, the wonderful collinding.
  12. Cheers. Have you tried again since online?
  13. I waited. And waited. And finally caved. I’ve had my seat 30 years and don’t wanna give it up, or my mates. So I caved. And then when I tried to buy it online the “pay” button was too far down and I couldn’t scroll down far enough. So I went on the my iPad instead to do it and got this… FFS
  14. Same seat on the kop since seats were put in. What’s that, 30 seasons? Before that I stood every week and before that, I had a season ticket in the south stand.
  15. I’m up in Bamburgh in Northumberland at the moment and all the locals here are Mags or Mackems. Not one of them has been anything other than full of praise for us and pleased we went up. I spoke to one fella about the cup match at Hillsborough and he said it was all a load of tosh and sour grapes from the reporter and then fuelled by social media. The love for Wednesday up here is real
  16. His performance away at Everton on Boxing Day 1991 was one of the finest goalkeeping performances I’ve ever seen from a Wednesday keeper. He was unbeatable and made some incredible saves in a 1-0 win for us. But as so many have said previously, those big game clangers were unfortunately what he will be remembered most for. Pigs away, Leeds at home and the FA Cup final replay still haunt me.
  17. Must be Hillsborough that. Looks like it says Sheffield Wednesday on the roof of the stand and we weren’t known as that until we’d left Olive Grove. Love the picture. Fabulous moustaches.
  18. My mate is a season ticket holder down there and he says Cam is doing great, is a very good keeper and the best they’ve had in a long time. So there’s that.
  19. I went down to Cornwall a few weeks ago and left Sheffield at 3:15pm. The M5 was hell. There were so many accidents and so many delays that it took us 8 and a half hours just to get to Exeter. Next time I’m going overnight. Good luck all.
  20. I was in the north stand that day, 7 years old. Seem to remember the game was poor and it was ridiculously windy. There was a printer’s strike or something and the programme was about 8 pages and all in grey and white, which is bizarrely how I also remember the actual game. I remember being on the pitch at full time as well and a rozzer helping me and my brother over the wall to get to it. Jeez, 41 years ago…
  21. My first few years as a season ticket holder were on the back row of the uncovered section of the south stand towards the kop. Leslie Ash sat in the row behind me, which was the front row of the covered section. I was about 15. I didn’t see much of the games coz she was hot and I kept turning round to gawk! She’s about 62 now
