  1. A fair few of them that attended who I know are on multi-year ST deals. He's had, and spent. their ST money.
  2. For now, you're not being asked not to renew, just not to renew as soon as he puts the Early Bird tickets on sale. If we starve him of cash now, he'll be gone by the summer and you can renew, and keep your seat, then.... ...that's what I'm hoping 'cos I'm not renewing while ever chancer remains.
  3. Aye, Brown Bayley Steels, knocked it down to build Don Valley Stadium… …that went well
  4. My view is that he will put them on sale well before Christmas at the same price as he charged for this season's Early Bird, but with the added incentive of extra TPP's for renewals. He could offer 100 extra points per renewal without costing him anything.
  5. I posted that in the other thread before it was merged and thought that details were in this thread. There’s a location plan somewhere that shows where they will be on sale around the ground. The Park and New Barrack Tavern should be selling them tomorrow as well.
  6. Have a look in the restock black and gold scarves thread, it lists pubs that are selling them and where they will be available around the ground
  7. Done that, and reported the impersonator.
  8. Or maybe they’re just thick, have no education and choose to ignore rational information.
  9. That’s not a bad shout but he’d need the rest of this season to get fit enough to play
  10. I got my scarf from New Barrack Tavern and Ozzie’s ‘friend’ is a regular in there. He’s no excuse
  11. I did catch Ozzie casting Barney a disparaging look in front of The Kop yesterday, as Barney swung his Black & Gold scarf. Im not sure how Ozzie feels about this
  12. I’m not saying that you’re wrong with that statement but we have plenty of fans who fall into the ‘there’s none so blind as them that will not see’ category
  13. Sorry, I hadn't read all the thread and didn't see Kirksandallowl's reply
  14. It's 5% of the ticket price and chancer also charges £1 per ticket on top of that.
  15. Agreed. Our lot used to go in pre-match when it was still a WMC because you could take kids in and for the Wards ale. I remember going in before a Sunday kickoff and letting my daughter play a bingo card. She won and the Sunday dinner regulars weren’t happy, tried to stop her being paid out, even though I shouted house, because she was under age. We moved to NBT when the club closed when it flooded and have been there ever since.
  16. I got mine from NBT yesterday. I was in the pub on Saturday dinnertime, waiting with a pint for the delivery that didn’t turn up.
  17. Ok, thanks for that. I didn’t question if it was the same owner or not when I was chatting about the pending closure on Saturday afternoon.
  18. I asked the landlord of another pub in Hillsborough if he knew why Hillsborough Club was shutting. He reckons that it’s the owner that’s pulled the plug and not because of lack of turnover. Apparently the owner has closed it before, then reopened after a few months, and wants to build flats on the site.
  19. Definitely not Nicky Weavers son. My friend's son used to play in the same team as Ernie in the u10s and knows his dad Steve. Another mate of mine works with his dad at the Environment Agency.
  20. NBT open at 4:00 this afternoon, I am assured that the scarves will be available for sale today.
  21. Someone at the Trust failed to deliver the scarves to NBT in time for the advertised 12:00 sale yesterday. As I understand it, the pub landlord had to go and collect them yesterday afternoon.
  22. His dad is called Steve.
  23. I’m guessing that you’re the type of fan that never steps foot in Hillsborough but fights a good fight on the keyboard
