Is there any truth in the idea that Beadle's contact has a 'if he's fit he plays' clause. He isn't as good as Charles.

It would depend at what point Windass started his run. The only certainty for me is that this referee has never played the game to any standard in his life and I suspect that goes for the lino as well. It was evident after 5 minutes when Bernard was unceremoniously barged to the ground attempting to clear a corner.

A mate of mine now works as a coach at Watford. He tells me that the staff who worked with Xisco when he was there, found him friendly and approachable but with no recognisable tactical awareness. Just sayin'.

It's a good point and anyone worried about the 10 men behind the ball set up, they need to note that many of the teams in this league play the same way. We need to break with more speed and confidence and that will come.
