  1. The point I should have made when posting this is it’s yet another media outlet picking up on the comments after the last game. It needs putting to bed. No more rumours on press conferences, no more leaving us all hanging on. Chansiri needs to sort it, and sort it sharpish. But we know that won’t happen. He’ll drag his feet as per the norm, blame everyone but himself, and once again shows us for the shitshow behind the scenes that we are.
  2. Nothing like a lovely clickbait post from Talksport, but it does add fuel to the fire on the press conference rumours.
  3. Danny Röhl has decided to leave Sheffield Wednesday, talkSPORT understands. Owls boss Röhl is Southampton's main managerial target but also has interest from Germany and Saudi Arabia. Röhl is believed to have a release clause in his Wednesday contract of around £5m. The German's deal currently has two years remaining after he penned an extension last May. Since his appointment in October 2023, Röhl has won 34 of his 89 matches in charge at Hillsborough.

  5. Again, another one late to the party here, but I run the venue at Yellow Arch Studios in Neepsend. We’re a 200 cap music venue, but also do private hire too - birthday parties, corporate do’s… we even do weddings www.yellowarch.com
  6. Think the brewery have someone to take over, and I wish them all the best. It’s really tough at the moment. Not going to bore people with the financials but the price of beer to buy in leaves little for wages, utilities etc unless you charge extortionate prices. anyway, merry Xmas to all and here’s to three points today!
  7. Sadly we are closing Ship Inn on the 1st January. Cannot keep up with the rising costs of beer and utilities, and the wider kelham island area is a ghost town apart from Saturdays. The constant 12:30 kick offs have really killed off our matchday trade too
  8. Politely disagree He’s crossed when the cross is the right option He’s cut back when the cross isn’t on Our best threat and best performance of the half. Hopefully he pushes on now. Same with Musaba. They both need game time. Think people need to remember this is a side cobbled together with 3 weeks notice. It’ll come, but my worry is Chancer will. Use Munoz as a scapegoat and use him to deflect the flak.
  9. You should see how much the price of a barrel of beer has increased over last couple of years…
  10. Thought he had a decent game - we need players with a bit of shithousery about them. Think he’ll do well here.
  11. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2023/august/owls-announce-key-new-partnerships/ It’s that Adam Shaw chap, in that interview with Staton he mentioned he was also working with Steelers and Sharks
  12. With the exception of Byers, not really sure what many were expecting. Most signings made in the last few days, wouldn’t expect them starting for a couple of weeks or so Hopeful for a result, anything can happen, but not exactly been enthused for the start of the season.
  13. Ever so sorry to hear this. too many friends I’ve lost far too early like this, it’s heartbreaking. Much love to the family, RIP Andy - always a voice of reason on here
  14. I’m 34. David Hirst was my first, and still is my, wednesday hero. Don’t care for him wanting to leave, he was this young lads idol.
  15. It's all hearsay, but I heard before the second leg that Gerrard was lined up Really hope not The list of bookies favourites doesn't exactly breathe confidence either. Lee Bowyer? Give me strength
  16. Regardless of the thoughts on Moore leaving, the timing is just baffling It's been reported several times that Manager's are on rolling one-year contracts, which if true would give reason why all backroom staff have left too BUT It's what, 6 weeks til the start of the season? If we don't act fast, then you might as well write off August and September
  17. I wouldn’t bet against it
  18. Frustrated, disappointed, a bit gutted I’ve mentioned in here before my admiration for the job Moore did off the pitch. I just hope we don’t end up with another Pulis, destroying the togetherness at the club that Moore grafted for. It’s clear that everyone at the club loved him, players and staff alike. So difficult to do, so easy to break apart. We shall see.
  19. Same here. Had to stand, otherwise I wouldn’t have seen owt. Couldn’t exactly ask the 20-odd rows of standing people in front to sit down either It is frustrating when it’s the odd one in their own but sometimes it’s got to be done. I’d have shifted too if I was in anyone’s way It also made it easier to give my dad a proper hug at the end. It’s the first time due to whatever reason we’ve sat together at a final. So for that I am eternally grateful.
  20. Korea 2002 are they on glue? What’s that got to do with owt time they got back in their box. Absolutely no one outside of s70 gives a throw about Barnsley
  21. Up Darren Moore Up the lot after tonight, whoever we have in the final, let’s get behind them and let’s take the playoffs. We’re all Wednesday aren’t we?
  22. A lot of people need to remember where we were before Moore took over. He’s turned everything around behind the scenes. Yes we should have walked the league, but we didnt yes we could or should have strengthened in January but the players who should have stepped up were being touted by the likes of AC Milan last summer the man has proved once again his stock. Let’s get behind them at Wemberly and see what happens.
  23. Been saying to my pals for ages, we need a proper s**thouse. We haven’t had one for years. Pritchard for Sunderland the past two games played the referee and 9 times out of ten got away with it. Those who watched on TV Friday night saw his little laugh to himself everytime he won a free kick. As been said in other freds, we’re just a bit too nice.
  24. Bad day for Van Aken. Reach poor in first half but slightly better in the second. All in all, a bad day for a wednesdayite. But fair play to them, their game plan worked. Brooks bossed it- great game for him. But Leon's second should have been dealt with:
