  1. Bellingham is becoming a major issue for England!! He needs to be knuckling down and playing for the team and not his own ego. At the moment, he's the one who misses out on a 1st team place for me.
  2. It's fashionable for quite a lot of fans to have jealousy fuel hatred towards the countries best players, it's always been the same!! Beckham, Rooney....now Kane.
  3. Lowe also publicly said he wanted out…probably only still here because no one wanted to gamble on his injury record. Our fans are judging Röhl for actually backing his own thoughts and actions, knowing he’d have options!! Lots of the first team squad wanted to do the same but it didn’t quite happen for them.
  4. Rangers hadn’t been winning any games and were in free fall…Röhl changed that instantly. I don’t get the ill feeling towards the facts??? Won 3 in 3 in the league, tightened them up and got them scoring goals. He’s repeating what he did when he arrived at us.
  5. you’d take 3 straightforward league wins for us at this moment in time wouldn’t you?? based on the league table and form we’ve just played Oxford, Norwich & Southampton and picked up 1 point…don’t really get your point??? Röhl walked into a side that was in free fall…conceding goals a struggling to even draw games!! In 3 league games in charge he’s completely transformed them (still not looking great by the way), he’s doing to them what he did to us, which is exciting for them as they are a huge club that should be dominating and should be performing in Europe.
  6. I can't comment on neither claim as i have never been present to witness is....same as every single person on this forum and we are basing most opinions on internet trash news. What players didn't want him back? By that point, most of the first team had expressed their own desire to leave and possibly even handed in their own notice's (including some of current squad members might i add), lots had already left for free (Smith, Windass etc...), so most of the squad at the training ground had never actually played a first team game had probably had no right to have any opinion!! Röhl came to us as an unknown entity but quickly built a solid reputation (saving us miraculously and even progressing us in extremely difficult circumstances) and is showing signs of immense potential elsewhere...why any of our fans would have any hard feelings towards him, seriously baffles me!! Our loss is someone else's gain.
  7. 100% correct. He didn't down tools...he continued to work with what we had after a lack of support.
  8. Really don't get this thought...what antics? If you worked for a boss who publicly shamed you, often forgot to pay you at the month end and didn't provide you with the tools to do your job to the best of your ability...what would you do? Just because it's football, fans expect weird and wonderful things. He owed nothing to Chansiri. The clown wasn't even on the other end of the phone to discuss transfer plans etc.... it was a dead end for Röhl And for those saying that he downed tools in January 2025...i 100% disagree, he showed frustration and let people know his feelings but continued to manage us to our highest place finish in a number years.
  9. I agree to a certain extent but oakwell and Hillsborough is special to the fans…it’s hardly a pull for people to travel hundreds of miles for the experience. our stadium facilities and match day experience are both poor and very dated
  10. 1000% this!!! Hillsborough has held us back For at least the last 15 years…possibly 20!! As a football club there’s are lots to be gained from the commercial side of things and Hillsborough simply doesn’t support that
  11. I think this was a genuine mistake caused by confusion with the outside noise. I was in the south and you could hardly hear what the tannoy announcements were at times because of the fireworks. Also the ref never blew his whistle at the end of the last post to signal the start of the minutes silence (or it certainly wasnt heard from were we where!!) I honestly think that the clapping was because people thought the mark of respect had finished...both sets of players were even looking to complete their final stretches and remove training wear. The minute silence is extremely important and i think 99.9% of the fans in the ground know that and the clapping wasn't ideal but i didn't view it as disrespectful.
  12. There are two spare seats available on a mini bus that's going from the S13 area Saturday, if anyone is struggling for lifts, trains or coaches. Departs from the Handsworth area, but the driver would be happy to pick up and drop off within reasonable distances of the S13 area. Priced reasonably considering the distance etc... please message me if anyone would be interested.
  13. Yep i have no issue with that. I said i would help out for the Oxford game and i would do the same again for tomorrow night. I would happily buy a ticket for someone to go, who perhaps isn't in the best place financially at the moment (we've all been there and there is no shame associated with it).
  14. We dont contribute to anything, remember….silly billy.
  15. i think we've just about sorted it mate, thank you.
  16. I’d take a kids or concessions ticket if anyone has a spare?
  17. I am after one adults ticket for WBA if anyone has a spare. I can meet anywhere is Sheffield.
  18. Exactly this and lots already having commitment not expecting to be attending anytime soon. and not to mentioned that there was 1/2 a working day to sort things out from the clubs perspective.
  19. we’ve put up with enough as a collective fan base and there’s been divided opinions at times…thankfully that’s all over so if we can help each other and the club to recover, then I’m all for it mate!! come on let’s show the nation how good we are
  20. fantastic gesture I’ll commit to helping a fellow Wednesdayite if needed DM if I can help
  21. It's incredible isn't it...he's literally had 24 hours to put them together and on the pitch in a European away tie and people are already questioning him
  22. just not sure it’s comparable that’s all mate. sanctions against an aggressor to try and escalate and defund a savage war…or remove a lunatics from a football club cos he’s clueless. we know full well that if it was the other way around it would be completely different(two completely different cultures)…but it’s not, it’s happening to us!! Our new found love for acceptance (as a nation as a whole) will ensure he remains untouched until someone like the HMRC has had enough.
  23. it was a political decision based on sanctions against Russia and Russians…not really the same.
