  1. I have friends inside and outside of football mate. The friends I go to the football with are largely on the same page however there’s some that still go and I respect that. They have paid money for ST’s. They fully support the efforts by not spending anything in the ground. never once thought we would fall out mate. If there’s one thing we are 100% aligned with is that!! for the record, I’ve never told anyone what to do or not do…I’ve simply asked questions about the reasons for still going or not boycotting.
  2. An individual trophy based on club and country achievements...makes zero sense!!
  3. Based on the highlighted comment, i feel you're moving the goalposts quite considerably here to suit a failing argument/justification. We're talking about matchdays and in particular a Saturday boycott, to which my response was...Still meet up but go to a pub in Hillsborough to watch the game, have your friends and family meet ups. Your comments are now implying it's about a general "meet up". What are you on about? why can't you all meet up if you don't go to the game??? you're talking pony mate. I just think that a lot of people are hooked up on "having to go to the game" and i think some a viewing it as a badge of honour "I WAS THERE" kinda thing. The cold reality is that the clown who owns us is using the hard earned cash (ticket sales, merchandise sales & money from food & drink) from every single one of us to fund ventures away from Hillsborough. He's not even using it to pay the staff for christ sake!!!!!!! He has and continues to put us on the brink of irreversible damage!! In terms of what i have sacrificed....i have given up my ST (2 years ago), associated points, away tickets, my membership (this season) and days out with friends etc... so please don't sit there and say "i'm sacrificing jacksh*t"!!
  4. I addressed your points. I don’t particularly agree with any of them however, they’re personal to you so as long as you’re ok mate…sod the rest. your first point about people coming from Lincoln is laughable. It’s an hour on the train, hardly Timbuktu. Sentiment I fully understand and I’ve lost two very good friends in the last 3/4 years (both 40 or under), plus lost family members over the years. Again, not really sure why it would stop anyone doing the right thing and hounding this cretin out. But like I said, I’m happy for you
  5. I understand sentiment i really do but this situation goes far beyond that as well...if this carries on, you won't be sat in your seat with memories, as the club will be out of business!! I really don't think the trust are asking for too much in relation to ONE, full on boycott. Every single person!! it's for the greater good and the long term interests of everyone who are still able to go and enjoy the games.
  6. Are taxis free on a matchday and does Lincoln become 30 minutes closer on a Saturday afternoon? I am sure alternative arrangements could be made to meet up with friends and family. People still have choices available to them. It was on Sky on Saturday, could have met in one of the pubs close to the ground or on neutral ground somewhere...i feel like this ia little bit of justification/excuse. I 100% agree that going to the game itself does bring people together but a short term sacrifice will bring long term gain!! Buying a black and gold scarf and then spending £25.00 on food and drink inside the ground, make zero sense whatsoever.
  7. It’s character building that’s all.
  8. i’m not 100% sure it’s a valid reason and would get anyone away with charges. it’s a criminal offence and they love to make examples of football fans (regardless of the situation) Ive been there and done it and it’s not worth the aggro.
  9. agreed…if he stands up, it at the right height. The dive took him lower than he needed to be.
  10. an OTT reaction. There’s some anger in there!! I get the gist of the idea…this clown keeps breaching his own contract and payment obligations so maybe something as serious as players refusing to perform their contractual obligations may be the way to get to get the relevant authorities involved. hopefully the timing of this months episode is right on queue, with the regulator about commence.
  11. strongly disagree!! There was a period under Jos were he single handily carried us. Adam Reach was never a crunching LWB that some thought he was or was expected to be. Very unfair for people to think that’s what he was, technically he was a very good player.
  12. Fruit of the loom special
