If, big if, he somehow makes the payroll, the EFL will - quite rightly - want to know where the money came from. He’s clearly been skint of late, and if he suddenly pops up with a million or two, they will want to know who gave it to him. They’re not going to let this go easily - think they sense the end

Don’t get that everyone’s issue is with Nixon. He’s a journo. People pay v small amount for what info he gets. And tbf he gets tonnes right. Not everything - as things change after info leaks, as we know - but i think he’s solid just a fella doing a job. If you don’t like it, ignore what he says (not aimed at you ap, but generally to people who talk about him a lot then give him pelters)
