San Siro to be demolished and rebuilt.
Karl replied to Maidstone Owl's topic in General Football Chat
One of the best stadiums I've ever watched football in for atmosphere. Be a shame to see it go. -
Players considering strike action
Karl replied to Dexter Morgan's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Good on them, hopefully they know they'd have the backing of 99% of the fan base if they did.- 114 replies

Players told they won't be paid on time AGAIN
Karl replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Can't stand the sight of this c*nt's face. Wish people would stop posting it -
Didn't a similar thing happen at Bath City a couple of years ago too?

Tend to agree with this if DR was still here and we weren't an absolute sh!tshow. At the moment he's one of the most experienced players we have, if he's fit he plays. He's been extremely consistent for us over the years, deserves to be in that list IMO regardless of whether he should be playing or not.

Your own favourite shirt number 1 - 11
Karl replied to owlsite's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'm just a short arse pal, did think they looked a bit long when I put them on! Managed to score twice at Leppings Lane end so didn't cause too much harm -
Both extremely deserving to be in the top 5 come the end of the season. Could see Bannan going right to the top of that list providing he doesn't get injured!

Your own favourite shirt number 1 - 11
Karl replied to owlsite's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This was (and always has been) my favourite number, because of this shirt. Went on to wear it during my stint playing Saturday/Sunday football, my wedding anniversary is on 8th August, as is my daughter's birthday, it'll never be another number for me. I was also lucky enough to wear it on the hallowed turf itself ... -
As a side note to this and what makes this even more frustrating for me personally is that I designed the club's 150th anniversary kit. Something that should be a source of massive pride - being part of the club's history, contributing to such a milestone celebration - now feels tainted by association with the current regime. I should be buzzing every time I see someone wearing it. Instead, I find myself almost embarrassed to be connected to anything with his name attached to it. A 150th anniversary kit should represent everything good about this club's heritage and future, not leave the designer feeling awkward about their own work.

I’ve never felt as switched off from the club as I do right now. The situation with the chairman has just killed my enthusiasm completely. I used to check the club website daily, follow every bit of transfer news, get genuinely excited or devastated depending on results. Now? I barely even look at the scores anymore. The worst part is feeling like a bad fan for being this way. This club has been part of my identity for so long, and now I feel like I’m watching it from the outside, like it’s happening to someone else’s team.

England - Road to USA and Mexico and Canada 2026
Karl replied to TheEnchanter's topic in General Football Chat
Said the same in our group chat, staggered he didn't give it in the first place, absolutely nailed on penalty. Very convincing performance from England though, something we've not come to expect (not at that level anyway). Just hope it's not a flash in the pan. Thought Anderson was very good yet again, impressed by Madueke and Rogers too. -
I think it's clear as day that the man doesn't give a f*ck about anybody who's surname isn't Chansiri.
-
Hope not because that would mean he's on his way out of the country

Been eerily quiet, thought at least one might have been out of the door by now.
-
Got to the point now where I detest even seeing his face. The day the doors shut behind him and anything to do with the club that involves him or his family name will be glorious.

Looked like a bad dead leg. Looked like Harrison (?) kneed him in the side of his leg.

If ever a game epitomised the saying ‘hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard’ then that was it. Leeds thought they just had to turn up to win. Outstanding shift from our lads.
-
I really don't understand why some of our fanbase cannot grasp this simple concept.
-
Being realistic, cutting off Chansiri’s money supply completely is never going to happen (as a few posters in this thread have proven) there’ll always be SOME cash coming in one way or another. The only real option is tightening the noose and squeezing him bit by bit as much as we can, until he’s got no choice. That’s the best we can hope for. Hats off to all those boycotting

Charles bids from Rangers and West Ham
Karl replied to SallyCinnamon's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I don't think I could mentally manage Chansiri still being in charge next summer. -
AT LAST. !!! It's finally happened

Not a fashion expert, but I did design a kit for us a few years ago -

The lettering totally ruins this season's shirts. Who on earth signed that off, beggars belief. Remove the lettering and reduce the size of the Owl slightly so it sits between the lines and it's a really nice kit. -
Happy to be proved wrong but I don't think any of these would have risked playing yesterday if they were off this Friday. Especially as two of them came off injured.

Club need to make a point of having the first away kit black and gold after Chansiri's f*cked off.
