  1. Feel for Pedersen and the players, but I back the EFL 100% with this.
  2. Are they really? All they’ve asked is that Cuntsiri shows he can fund the wages. Clearly he can’t.
  3. Been saying this for a while. I’m convinced this is how he feels and he’d rather the club die than someone else take it on, realise it’s potential, and show him up. He’ll NEVER willingly sell. £100m price tag shows he has zero intention of selling. Unless the EFL finds a way to get him out, or the regulator steps in and forces a sale (which I highly doubt will happen), I genuinely believe the club will die. An awful, slow painful death. In normal circumstances, there are logical arguments for an owner getting out while he can, and something’s better than nothing etc etc, but they really don’t apply to this clown. He’s a one of a kind lunatic owner. A lethal combination of unearned wealth, zero business acumen, and some dreadful narcissistic personality traits.
  4. All deserve 10s for that performance. Outstanding effort. The ages of our back 5…. 20, 20, 19, 19, 18. I’m sure Otegbayo is the only 1 who’s played any league football, and it’s not much. To keep their shape and composure, to battle and scrap as they did, against such a strong team, is incredible. The whole team worked their socks off. So happy for them. fizz off Chansiri
  5. Wow. What a fantastic effort so far from this young team. Against a strong Leeds side. They should be mega proud of themselves whatever happens in the 2nd half.
  6. I’d argue that attending this event is falling into a trap.
  7. There are no recriminations for him if you DO turn up. He just gets to shape a narrative and no doubt some will lap it up. “I don’t think he’s a bad guy…” ”He is trying tbf….” ”He’s had cash flow issues….” etc
  8. I don’t get this thinking. An excuse for what? What difference does it make? As in, how could DC possibly spin nobody attending as some sort of win? Fúck him. And a boycott of this completely pointless box ticking exercise is the best way to show him and the EFL that’s how we feel. There CAN NOT be any avenue for him to squirm his way through this and carry on. Zero contact. SELL THE CLUB or nothing.
  9. Have the blades managed to find themselves a Xisco?
  10. This I don’t know what actually needs to happen to wake some of our fans up. It’s so demoralising.
  11. Absolutely pathetic if they even consider this. He’s clearly trying to worm his way through and cling on. Zero contact with that ********. Just sell the club. Nothing else is acceptable.
  12. Charles is the obvious one. He’s brilliant. Shame we won’t get the fee we should. Johnson was the best of the young bunch for me. Barely wasted the ball, very composed and scored a lovely goal.
  13. 2 Sure there’s plenty of interest, but I just can’t see him ever going, willingly.
  14. Would have been easy to fold and just blame the situation, but none of them did. Every one of them can hold their head up high. Along with the fans (who were incredible), they represented the club fantastically well. Chansiri can fizz right off.
  15. People actually blaming Pederson is ******** mental
  16. Regardless of what’s going on at our calamity club, I’ll always enjoy watching the pigs get battered
  17. This season needs to just be about getting rid of DC.
  18. Not one bit. No interest in seeing those poor lads getting thrown to the wolves. Terrible circumstances. It’s embarrassing to be going into a season in this state. ALL thanks to 1 man.
  19. How depressing looking at these lineups. We’re getting beaten comfortably. Just hoping it’s not a complete humiliation.
  20. Lucas Joao is the ONLY player he’s ever got a good deal on. In 10 years. THE worst football transfer business man of all time.
  21. He’s going to cling on isn’t he?
  22. Of course there’s a generational aspect here. I don’t think anyone under 35 can really appreciate the size and potential of Wednesday. We’ve been so bad for so long, at probably the worst possible time. Dropped out before parachute payments and missed the boom period. The PL now is not the same as the one we left. It’s a global behemoth. The LEAGUE is the draw. The likes of Brighton and Bournemouth aren’t bigger than us because they’ve become more successful (won as many trophies etc), they’re simply well run clubs who’ve managed to get into the elite club during the right time in football history. The advantage of being in the top division now is so much greater than it’s ever been before.
  23. The last 25 plus year boom period has really skewed the definition of a big club. And we’ve missed it all. NO other club of equal size and historical standing has missed out and suffered in the same way.
