So many mouthbreathers in our fanbase. It's utterly heartbreaking

And if I was a prospective owner this might well put me off. The passive nature of the majority of ours isn't an appealing trait when you're looking to spend serious cash

Anyone who has turned up, can you report on the levels of vitriol? Anyone threatening to enter the pitch? Or is it pure apathy?

We need people with nothing to lose. No job, no mortgage and no kids. Good number of us would do it but ramifications too much

We have a large proportion ( I reckon around 70%) of our fanbase that are abject mouthbreathers, incapable of passion, thought or the ability to generate an original thought of their own. The time for niceities is over. Anyone purchasing a ticket for the Leeds game needs lining up against a wall and disposing of. Agree with the original poster entirely. As much as I love our club (and that 30%) I genuinely despise that 70% of Keiths and Karens who wouldn't have it any other way ( apologies to all you decent Keiths and Karens). I relate to that 70% less than I do my mates who support other clubs (100%). If and when we come through this hell I genuinely feel ( due to the makeup of our supporters) that we need a designated area where fans who genuinely engage their brain, are open to conversation and want to generate some kind of home atmosphere need to sit together and at least enjoy each other's company, even if they're not able to drag the apathetic mouthbreathers along with this mantra. Why shouldn't Hillsborough generate a Dortmundesque atmosphere? Let's stop saying 'we understand 'the views of this group. They aren't Wednesday fans and they aren't football fans. Yours in peace

Irrespective of what happens tomorrow please for the love of God get behind Pierce. The 3200 of you going and the owlstalk masses. If we get a good hiding he, and his fellow youngsters ( Otegbayo et al) will need all of our positive energies and ZERO pointing of fingers. This hell is all down to one person. Me and the kids will support the protest by walking into the Shamrock on Mar Menor five minutes in wearing our black and gold. Keep the faith!!!!

Agree with Rogers yet can also see the point of the other posters who are likely correct too. Happy to head down to the club today Rogers as not at work and can't bear sitting about scrolling owlstalk. Anyone else? Not really sure what it'll achieve other than more frustration and no answers but happy to head down

No. Quite a few asked and I shared the details of my experience. They went about things the same way but got a different response entirely, a blanket no. Point being, a precedent had been set. I asked during last season as did they but they were turned down. Surely they can't put my refund down to an 'admin error '. Much more likely they realised there would be a vast number asking for refunds. I'd hope a lawyer in our owlstalk midst could give clarity. Cheers

This is the really sad part ( amongst a million other sad parts) . Other than telling my 3 we aren't going next season due to.the ownership which, bless them, they fully understand, I've barely said a word more. I made the mistake of telling them Gassama might be going a week or so ago and an hour later at the kitchen table my 10 year old daughter started crying her eyes out! What's wrong Emily I asked?? Why is he letting our best player go daddy...I don't want him to go..it doesn't make sense'. Now my 3 will hear nothing from me about the club until it's good news...by which point they will either be Emley fans or won't care. It's just so effing heartbreaking.

This makes me almost as angry as the situation we are in. The game is utterly and entirely broken. These clubs picking up scraps as and when they wish and they can. It's totally abhorrent

I requested a refund for my son and I on the March evening it was announced he hadn't paid the wages. I had the full refund in 10 days later
