  1. I wouldn't bank on any new owner lowering prices.
  2. To be fair they haven't have they? They served a prohibition notice about a fortnight ago which still stands. Things only change when that is lifted. The club's desperation on seeking to quickly fill it with gobbo is causing the last minute anxiety.
  3. I'm not sure you can include upper and lower capacities of Leppings Lane together either if they are to be split between home and away as I think SAG place a reduced capacity in that case - to do with evacuation of two different sets of fans
  4. I'm on holiday and could give my iD away many times over
  5. TV cameras face the cantilever. How more empty can it look?
  6. Maybe because they have made their decision but the club are begging for more time (and no formal announcements) to reach an agreed position with a contractor on timescales who guess what, might be a bit wary of not being paid so is proving difficult to find.
  7. I was going on the photos but yes, agreed.
  8. ....or the club are desperately pleading with all parties to say the right thing and allow it to be open. I agree, highly unlikely especially given stadium's history.
  9. HSE govern working practices and would be involved to protect the safety of those working on the stand, not occupancy by fans on match day
  10. I had a Triumph Spitfire so found this interesting
  11. I believe the club have waited to get work started before issuing a statement to say it is closed but we are on with it. I'm expecting it to be closed until Christmas but statement will perhaps give clearer timeline.
  12. From tomorrow we'll all need to be re-housed. I'm not particularly chilled about that.
  13. Well, I'd lie to think so! We really are in deep do do"s if he doesn't..
  14. No. Drone survey today ahead of emergency works report.
  15. Contracted or not they are all professional footballers who at this stage of the season need to do their fitness work. I'm sure they all will be. I'm actually more interested in which coaching staff will be at St George's next week. I can understand those out of contract might not be but Röhl should be unless he lands a job between now and then.
  16. Today's SAG meeting is a regular diaried meeting to review all issues around the ground, reporting back on issues raised in previous 3 months etc. Of course Cantilever will need review maintenance and issues will arise. Understand it is one of only two remaining in the country. Not sure where the other one is.
  17. Still need 2 tickets for Sunday please. Will take one if anyone has one.
  18. Missed out like many and after 2 tickets please.
  19. Agree entirely. Way to bright and need adjusting/angled down. And turn the pitch side hoardings down 50% while you're at it
  20. Byers...like a 1980's centre mid. Had a bit if everything. Lots of good performances. Bannan's workrate was ridiculous..
  21. Sow. Was bang in line and Bannan's shot might even have gone wide/hit post without the touch.
  22. Spoke to Ron not long after we signed him and he said he felt we needed a winger and put calls in to Bennett and Mark Chamberlain. Bennett was sorted first so he didn't need Chamberlain too. Both cheap options at the end of their careers bit I thought Bennett was ok without being sparkling, all considered
