  1. Wow seriously? If that's the case it just have gone up this year. For the standard package it was £300 +VAT last season which is still horrendous
  2. Personally I think it's a lot of people desperate not to lose out on ticket priority points
  3. 100% and to get rid of him in the manner Chansiri did when the squad were united with him was horrendously stupid
  4. Doubt it whilst they're still playing professionally, wouldn't want to get a reputation for speaking negatively on the chairman etc. In the next decade I imagine we'll see some of them speaking on podcasts etc
  5. Absolutely, people love to slag him off for a perceived lack of commitment towards the end of his time. But earlier in his time with he never stopped running, perhaps the fittest in the team and scored some absolutely epic goals providing great entertainment.
  6. Zambia 2008 in the yellow plus etc sponsored away shirt
  7. Yep, I agree on the retro fake ones I've seen the badge looks decent. On England shirt too as there are so many fakes I believe it drives the demand the refine the detail. The more modern Wednesday badge is more intricate than the retro Owl though and makes it a dead give away to spot a fake (not that I'm advocating people but this seasons shirt). Equally made it easy last season to identify a genuine or fake shirt from the home, orange or black kits. First image, the embroidery on the writing is much better quality and the badge drops into shape at a different point. Kids etc likely don't tell the difference. Though easy to spot one you've seen a few
  8. The fake shirts always get the badge terribly wrong.
  9. Could get the band back together Reach, Shodipo and Maguire. Would anyone take anyone on here? Angus Gunn perhaps if he'd take less than 7k
  10. I was told by someone he didn't want to pursue it as it was a triangle shape. Could be nonsense, just what I heard
  11. My son understands quite a lot of what's going on. He's 10 and has a good insight I've talked to him about not giving more money to Chansiri. Last year we had memberships, he was mascot and the last 3 4 years we've been to double figures in the amount of games each season. Talked to him a few weeks ago about going to different grounds around the region instead. We came up with a bit of a list looking up on the map. First one we're planning is Rotherham v Port Vale and sit with the Port Vale fans if we can and cheer on Darren's team. Also have on the list Barnsley, Doncaster, Bradford, Huddersfield, Salford, Stockport, Lincoln, Grimsby, Harrogate etc Though it's been hard this week when he's seen the new shirt is out. I've said before about not giving money to the club at the moment and he's been in agreement. But I encouraged him in March to save his birthday money so he could get the new shirt when it was released. He's seen its out and is asking me for us to go and get it. The principled part of me wants to insists to him he doesn't spend his money he's saved at the club at moment and again explain the reasons. The parent in me remembers what it was like to be 10 and wanting your teams new shirt as soon as possible.
  12. I heard he ate too much soda bread His legs turned to lead

  14. Stretch is a great name for a keeper
  15. Genuinely think it could be youth coaches combined with any remaining senior players who have their badges.
  16. Stepped down in April 24 https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2024/april/nicky-weaver-to-step-down/ Whoever in coaching the under 21/youth will likely need to step in
  17. If we had those though we'd have a template unless we'd got in Europe like Villa/Newcastle
  18. No, might go and watch Chesterfield instead at times next season. Will reassess as the season progresses
  19. The macron stuff this year and last was well designed and good quality in my view. We sold tons of the orange shirt, a well designed shirt when morale is well will sell well whether macron or Adidas. Orange one, momentum was high with Danny = sold well White/cream one the year before with Xisco. Poor design, unlikely to be worn much and no momentum = sold relatively few. The design and team performs by far the most important factor.
  20. More chance of getting a friendly against Steve Bracknell's Royal Oak at this point than a comprehensive friendly schedule being forthcoming.
  21. They'll be a lot of players choosing Wrexham who we'd love to have
  22. If we don't the wires paid soon it'll be 2 months unpaid and Windass and a few others will be off and I wouldn't blame them. Though I think realistically once the 1.5 million for Cadamarteri is in wages will be paid then tv money will keep the basics ticking over. If lucky then we might avoid a points deduction, however DC will do the bare minimum and not break further EFL regs. Leaving us to scrape through the season with a threadbare squad and down before April 26.
  23. This re merchandise I firmly believe the only reason the club us putting on the event is due to the amount of money they make on shirt sales in that day. Last year, carrying the optimism from the previous season the shop was absolutely rammed with I'd estimate over 1k home shirts sold
  24. Joined in April 2012 Posted a fair bit but never enough to be a well known profile in my view. Forever grateful for being allowed to post my fundraising efforts on the site when I was doing Ride London in 2018 and fundraising for JDRF.
