  1. Thanks for the reply but whilst ignoring what I’ve said. The main thing is to give a is point 4 and to give a battle weary support a much needed shot in the arm. We’ll agree to disagree.
  2. there is a freeze frame and the exact number is 54.
  3. As I’ve previously said, by just talking about the money you aren’t factoring in the other factors. Buying a pint in the ground, it benefits the single individual in getting that pint. A Wednesdayite attending an away game 1. keeps the protest going 2. keeps the protest in the media 3. provides vocal support of the players (not happening at Hillsborough). 4. Gives the fan base a shot in the arm and an opportunity to show their unwavering support and what it means to be Wednesday. The two situations are not comparable no matter how many times you keep bringing it up.
  4. Yes he is the best player but that’s not what I’m referring to. He could have left several times throughout his spell here on better money and higher leagues yet he stayed. He could have gone to Wrexham at the start of this season on almost 3 times the amount he getting here but didn’t. Ive spoken to him a couple of times and if you read his public statements he is very much behind the protests and has a lot of sympathy with non playing staff not being paid.
  5. Absolutely fits the description ‘legend’ I can think of no other player that has gone above and beyond for Wednesday other than Howard Wilkinson but spanning several roles at the club. Captain, Leader, Legend
  6. If enjoyment was my main driver, I’d have given up watching Wednesday years ago! Im staying away because of one reason and that’s Chansiri, not how poo the football is.
  7. If we did the tennis balls again I’m sure there would be a lot more thrown on than last time
  8. Im not on anything so cant join in but worth a go
  9. Why, is he good at basketball as well?
  10. I understand what you are saying but my personal opinion is the benefits of the away following and the lift it brings to the fan base far out way the profit Chansiri makes from it. For what it’s worth, I personally haven’t given him a penny for the last 2 seasons in any form.
  11. Buying a pint in the ground or an away ticket isn’t comparable. One is purely for selfish reasons the other demonstrates magnificent support of the team whilst promoting the cause and keeping us in the public eye.
  12. Until someone can come up with a fairer system they won’t. Supporters that go week in week out should get first dibs on tickets. Those that play the system shouldn’t but can you name a better way?
  13. There’s been the odd blip but the Trust should be commended for the way they have remained professional throughout this saga. The time and effort is monumental and they should be held in high regard as people who have fought for this club along side others in our history.
  14. The decline and damage started 10 years ago. The last 6 months is when people finally started waking up to what was staring them in the face.
  15. Unless I’ve missed it you are saying do f*ck all and continue to pull every idea down. What do you suggest then?
  16. Rightly or wrongly, the thought behind it is that you get a collective focused on making the noise all at the same time rather than in small sporadic pockets. Also gives the away fans, as seen on Saturday, the chance to join in and show their support. It does need to be more than just on 10 minutes and you’d hope some groups in the ground would show a bit of initiative and get things going without being told when to.
  17. Someone has to be in the next group to say I’m not going to then get others to follow. If you say I’m not doing it cos 20,000 others aren’t then the other 20,000 say the same about you and sod all happens.
  18. Thanks pal. Classy message and I know your supporters group are helping us. Thanks
  19. could have sold thousands, really impressed with the take up. Momentum definitely building
  20. There will be another 3,000 for the QPR game. We had sold out before 2 o’clock where I was.
  21. I’d also add if he had run the club properly, got real sponsors and maximised our commercial opportunities better he wouldn’t have had to fund us personally to that extent. He is now suffering the consequences of his calamitous decision making.
  22. You make it sound like Ch*nsiri funded us personally due to some benevolent heroic act. He did this as a gamble to try and get the riches of the premier league for personal gain and no other reason. His personal gamble has collectively put us all in the dire position we are now. Stop trying to turn him into Robin Hood. He’s a low life degenerate gambler that has failed.
  23. Well done, great effort
