Maybe Baz should ask HP to have a word seen as he's in regular contact with our supreme leader. Or was all that BS from Pedersen...lets face it DC has no interest talking to anyone about anything swfc related, didn't engage with Danny back in January and nothing has changed since.

Palmer in midfield again
-
All depends how fast we concede the first goal. Hold out to close to HT and might be respectable 2-1 defeat. Concede early and its a 3+ probably 4 or 5 by full time score line. Shaky at the back, lightweight in midfield and no threat up front.

I just don't see the point of any of this

Regular contact with DC….WHY?!? What is the actual point. Or is this a sly dig at Danny who didn’t have “regular” contact with DC. Agree it is such a bizarre situation. -
Unlikely to make it at a level above league 2, looked slow and a bomb scare with the ball at his feet constantly gave possession away, poor positional awareness. Played one or two half decent passes but the rest of his performance was poor. Might get 1 or 2 that make a full career out of it from last nights squad but the rest I can see getting released over time.

The poo will hit the fan when there are 8k+ season ticket renewals, no doubt on sale in October.
-
I doubt many will admit it. Hopefully as the losses stack up it’s enough to make the penny drop with those fans. Tonight was a glimpse into the future, kids second best at home to a league 2 team, Hillsborough empty. It’s a slow death.

Sheffield Wednesday vs Bristol City OMDT

Palmer in midfield Otebayo is garbage I know we are up against it but these two are no where near good enough. -
Wrexham away shirt sales raised £37,500 for the Trust
Box_Man replied to gypsyowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Sure this wasn't the total revenue generated? It was the £3-4k profit that was passed on, still incredible gesture. -
I think we are likely to get -3 pts for each instance where we failed to pay wages, probably reduced to -2 pts on appeal so we will end up with -10 / -12 points probably. We might get around 30 points so will end up relegated bottom on around 20 points come May 2026. Hopefully the EFL and new regulator can divest him fully and physically take the club off him before the end of the season. I think if the New Avenue Projects loan is somehow agreed to be rolled over for another 12 months at the end of this month that will by a clear signal we are in for a prolonged period of suffering under DC

453 tickets sold in the last 24hrs FFS what is wrong with some people. WHY. Just mental.
-
So he might get around £50k in ticket sales including away fans. Season ticket money already stolen/disappeared, hopefully it's costing him money just for us to host home games.
-
Kobacki is not and has never been a defender he’s an attacking player. Hes young, lacking quality and now being played out of position. Very poor management by Pederson.
-
Anyone attending is just going to get lied too. IF he actually turned up even shouting / swearing at him or whatever will make absolutely no difference what so ever. His own daughter is taking selfies with the family name plastered on the North Stand….there is no shame. He doesn’t give a f**k about engagement or the club or the staff or families associated with the club. Man baby moron trying to divide the fan base yet again. NOT A SINGLE PERSON SHOULD ATTEND. NOT ONE.

Our Impending Points Deduction
Box_Man replied to Essix Blue's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Should be giving us + 20 points to give us half a chance of getting to 50 points. -
100% move. People have way to much emotional attachment to a stadium.

I don’t get this doom and gloom
Box_Man replied to danblakemore's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It could be a bit of a sliding doors moment in our history. In one direction DC holds on, the club implodes, points deductions, consecutive relegations etc etc The other direction we get lucky and we snag a consortium of the super wealthy, one member of the consortium really gets the Sheffield Wednesday bug and becomes an Uber fan wanting to take Ryan Reynolds and his band of merry men on, investing millions in infrastructure and long term planning, new stadium, new youth and academy training grounds, state of the art first team training complex future proofing us for generations… Then we have reality, we are done, someone is going to have to physically wrestle the club out of his grip. Even when we are about to be liquidated he’ll want £50 million. -
I’m an optimist but the reality is we are going to get battered in most games. We might start off relatively competitive but once the losing mentality kicks in, the injuries, playing kids against men. It is not going to be pretty.
-
I think people are losing a grip on reality £7k per week is still just shy of £30k per month. Bannan has maybe one more year at Championship level max, he ain’t getting more than £10k pw in league 1 that’s for sure. If Bannan leaves it’s because the club has sunk and there is no realistic recovery. Fact is DC can’t afford £7k per week he’s done and taking the club with him.

Melt the elephants down and recreate a Bannan statue
