  1. Be a good signing in the summer if he fancies another league 1 promotion season
  2. They really aren’t in a good place at the minute Met up with one of my United supporting mates earlier and he thinks they have loads of problems players wanting out Wilder been a busted flush A raft of bad signings this summer Certain players have downed tools, one has gone awol It just seems a bit of a mess atm at the lane, like us in 2017 but worse If they don’t go up in the next couple of years, they’ll be another Stoke, West Brom and Norwich
  3. It’s been mentioned before but this is a guy who spat on the back of a rickshaw driver and thought it was funny so posted it on social media. I think that tells you all you need to know about the guys character
  4. Of all the sticks to beat DC with this isn’t one. Fletcher wasn’t worth £40k a week in his prime, and he certainly wasn’t worth £20k in his mid 30’s Fletcher was a total mercenary imo
  5. If they increased their capacity then they’d have to give more tickets away. Pointless exercise
  6. A steel birds next design like the one in Beijing
  7. Worth noting that for all the “overtaking” us and being the “dominant force” in the city business, they’ve spent 4 years in the PL since we were last there and 3 have ended in relegation
  8. Very true I could accept that they’ve overtaken us if they’d had some sustained success or an extended period in the top flight. Clubs of a similar size or smaller have done this in the last 25 years (Birmingham, Swansea, Stoke, Palace, West Brom, Hull, Boro, Burnley etc) The reality is that they’ve done par for the Sheffield United course over the past 25 years, which is being a competitive championship side with the odd top flight appearance which inevitably always ends in tears
  9. I can’t fault anyone for still not wanting to go to games this season. Yes the hope and positivity are back but the product on the pitch is dreadful and it won’t change anytime soon
  10. It’d be nice if we can get a decent transfer fee for him this summer. He’ll not want to go from a World Cup to Walsall away in league 1 Surely got to be looking at £2-3m
  11. Failing to sell this out will be disappointing Imo I think we have a proper hardcore of between 17-19k who buy season tickets, another 5-8k who pick and choose their games, a couple of thousand who go to the big games and another 10-15k who suddenly remember that they’re Wednesday fans when we get to Wembley All the London clubs in the PL have day trippers and football tourists boosting their crowds these days One of the downsides of reaching the PL is that we’ll be surrounded by these type of people every week wearing their half and half scarves whist filming the entire game on their phone for their YouTube channels
  12. I hope he goes off on a massive Wednesday rant again. It’ll make it more sweeter if/when we overtake them in the next couple of years
