  1. If this result was against Millwall everyone would have got over it by now. Fact is a team that could bring on 2 players bought for a combined £25m beat a team that has been ripped apart and left with scraps. If that finished 0-2 people wouldn’t be bothered either, the third was a bad one for us but people need to calm down. The squad is dire. It’s limping on fumes and needing everything to go right and the opposition to have an off day to even get a draw. Roll on December where hopefully we get exciting news around owners
  2. That’s what I’d have gone with bar Ugbo out Bailey in. Fusire and Ugbo didn’t need to start today.
  3. Minus 4 points, battered every week, 27k after a days notice, 28k on Wednesday night, 32k at £40 a pop. If we can keep turning up regardless of results we really will show what a fanbase we are. Today doesn’t change that. Let’s keep turning up!
  4. Tbh, we might all think this is weird from Wilder given his usual antics, but I think that’s shows that even the biggest of blades can see this is a hollow victory. Only the third goal made it somewhat of a thing. He probably was relived when that one went in. 2-0 would have been very average.
  5. It will be by the end. The record low is 26, Rotherham. If you go back further it’s 8, I think, Aston Villa? In the 1800s or something stupid when football first began. Will we clear 8 after the other deductions come in?
  6. Does it sting people? This isn’t a normal season. The 4-2 hurt, the 2 1-0s last season were disappointing. This, meh. The third was disappointing as it gave them a little joy to celebrate Most normal blades will enjoy today but they’re not going to sing about it forever (or will they?) even Wilder didn’t seem his usual gloaty self. I haven’t even been texted by any this time round. Even before the deductions we were going to struggle to clear 15 points. If we get above 0 before Christmas it’ll be a good effort. The main objective has been done. Couple weeks we will hopefully be told we’ve got some belting owners lined up who are looking into redeveloping Hillsborough, if not a new ground, new facilities and a lovely league one title charge similar to Birminghams.
  7. Always quicker to stay to the end. You miss the mad rush back on penistone road too
  8. Absolutely have to plan for the future. Once Brown is back fit, him and Bailey should be first choice. They are strikers, Lowe and Ugbo are not.
  9. On his way to national league level. Offer him out on loan for the next few years until his contract is up is about best we can hope for.
  10. Ugbo and Lowe aren’t strikers. That’s the issue.
  11. Starting Ugbo was a mistake. Looks like Cooper could have easily played 90 too so Fusire shouldn’t have started. Bannan great ball into Ingelsson who can’t even get his shot on target, did it again in the second half. Squads dire, most of them stayed coz they couldn’t get another champ club to want them. Paterson is in league two and is better than all of our available strikers and that about sums up our quality. We will struggle to hit double figure points. The third goal makes it worse, 2-0 would have been meh.
  12. Nah, 2-0 would have been poor, the third let’s them dance on tables regardless of the dire squad we have. It’s a shame but meh, our season was done in May. Theyll sing about it forever and we’ll move on by Monday. We are all just waiting for December to roll round.
  13. Having to do that job of the entire midfield. at 35 you can see he’s knackered with how every game he ends up left back just trying to stay involved. Weird how he’s always singled out in these games. He plays a great ball to Ingelsson in first 10 and Svante flops it with an awful shot. That ball to Campbell and it’s probably 1-0
  14. He’s never been a CB. He should have practiced his crossing more and made himself a RB. Does ok sometimes, bad sometimes. One in 10 he’ll have a blinder. Your average league one defender playing in the champ
  15. I think you’ll be upset this season if you expect that bunch of players to do anything. Its probably on average a league two side. Not one of that 11 should be first choice in league one next season. Bannan will be a rotation Saturday at home player missing the midweek away games. Take United out of it, if a Watford or Millwall came and beat us 0-3 today with no shots we wouldn’t be getting this worked up. The squad is awful.
  16. Genuinely not fazed by it. The 3rd was disappointing but I’ve spent the last 2 weeks telling my United friends when they’ve messaged me they’re about to see how bad we actually are. Theyve played it down scared all season and after the game even they have text me saying they didn’t really celebrate it until the third went in. Both games last season were massively more disappointing than this. Even Wilder was subdued in his press conference after.
  17. I don’t think Pedersen is a good manager but it’s hard to say with what he’s got. We need to stop trying to play football. Get it into the channels and accept we are a poor side so play for set plays. The kids in the cup did well because they played on the counter, sat back and just went into the channels.
  18. Shouldn’t get too worked up. The team isn’t good enough. We can like some players and still admit that. Horvath is bottom league one quality, Fusire is national league level Palmer League one utility man Iorfa league one level M Lowe bottom champ Amass league one level Valery bottom champ Ingelason league one Bannan champ sub player Ugbo on his way to national league J Lowe bottom league one player Add to that they’re all knackered. The third was disappointing as it gives them something to celebrate. We are just gash.
  19. Coventry was worse. Stoke was bad. Wanted to keep it below 3, didn’t happen but ah well. The chances they had it should have been 7
  20. Everyone’s knackered and we have no senior CMs
  21. The 4-2 was a bad result. This was just a result, shame about the third, but this was their chance to utterly batter us. They can claim it’s an amazing win but they can’t use this as a barometer for their season. Stoke put 3 past us here, Coventry 5, we are not a championship football team.
  22. It’s not even the worst we’ve played this season. It’s just the opposition that’s the issue. Stoke put 3 past us at home, Coventry 5
  23. They wouldn’t have celebrated a 2-0. 3 is unfortunately a hammering we will have to take. Cheers channers
  24. I knew we’d lose, I was hoping it to be less than 3. Largely though in a few days I’ll have forgot about this whilst they’ll be talking about it forever. Roll on the new owners
