  1. Agreed. While I love this black & gold until we're sold colour scheme - a full Hillsborough with blue & white everywhere will be a sight to behold.
  2. What do people expect? Barry and the remaining players gain nothing from coming out in the press and slagging off the chairman. I'm sure his true feelings will all come out in a couple of years. FWIW I thought it was a great interview under the circumstances but yes he clearly had to bite his tongue.
  3. Imagine that... a first team pre-season friendly!
  4. I've just spoken to the ticket office as I'm looking to get a ticket for my wife on general sale (her first away game - what a treat!). They're confident the office will be receiving more tickets and the allocation will increase so they'll most probably get to general sale.
  5. Na surely got to be blue and white v red and white as per tradtion. We've played in that before and not had a problem - they just normally change the shorts colours?
  6. As you mention it's all about the social media gratification for these idiots and younger people in wider society as a whole. Kids desperate for that 5 minutes of fame on Twitter, Tik Tok or Facebook. No consideration for fellow Wednesday fans or any poor sod unlucky enough to be on their train. Similar thing with letting off pyros at half time on the concourses - sea of phones in the air with scarfs over their mouth cos they can't breathe! Maybe I'm just too old now but I don't get it - surely there are better ways to create an atmosphere than extinguishing a train conductor?
  7. Can't believe we've made it to Thursday morning and I still haven't seen a replay of this anywhere! Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  8. That point at Leeds cost us another 5 more games of Xisco-ball. I'm convinced another drubbing there and Chansiri may have pulled the trigger. But oh how we celebrated that point
  9. I enjoyed it overall. Sure some of the live action footy makes you squint a bit but there aren't many unashamedly cheesy heart-warming sports comedies about are there?! It knows what it is and rolls with it. It's written really well with some seriously funny one-liners from a great cast. It becomes less about football as it develops which isn't a bad thing. Would definitely recommend - if only for our shout out!
  10. Feels like we've had a points deduction so far!
  11. I feel mentally exhausted being transported back to that particular moment - still can't believe we did it!
