Isn't that about what the owner of this site gets! -
I suppose they think they will be taken on as "a valued asset"

I'm not surprised that there are management supporters of shitferbrains. It's a common thing in life and especially in commerce and industry. Looking back when I was working in industry, there was always a "snide" that went scuttling off to the managers tittle tattling.....Some just can't help it, they thing they are helping the boss when in-fact the boss is just using them. At some point, the tittle tattlers will be found out.

I think we should do that every home match

Just as a thought, it maybe a good show of solidarity by the team that they all wear a gold and black scarf on their way out onto the pitch........Line up on the centre circle and wave them at our/their supporters. Y/N? -
Oh for someone like him to take us over. Sleep well Mr Manderic.

I have to admit that it seems to me that the EFL are punishing the team, the people who work for the club and of course, the supporters. Chanser must have known what the repercussions were going to be but went ahead anyway. He could have sold the club months ago (theoretically) but kept "upping" the price (theoretically). Personally, I think Chanser doesn't give a shyte as long as he retains a football league club... It's kudos for him! -
Yep, you just can't say testicles. Ooops

.....as an addition to your post, can I say that all the antagonistic postings on here (this thread) are not helpful at all. OK to have a different point of view as to how to get rid of "our Cancer" but there's no need for name calling and some outright nastiness. We're all in this together, we're all supporters of a fantastic football team and we're all sharing the same goal. (Right, that's just got that off me chest) UTO xx

Hillsborough club closing down...
longreach replied to Imre Varadi's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
In addition to this^^^^it would seem that community-owned pubs have become much more commonplace in the county’s rural areas in the recent past with The Countryman’s Inn at Hunton near Bedale becoming so earlier this year and joining an ever-increasing list that includes the likes of Travellers Rest in Skeeby; Kings Head in Gunnerside; Exelby Green Dragon in Exelby; Foresters Arms in Carlton-in-Coverdale; and George & Dragon in Hudswell. Maybe this is the way forwards. -

A village near me has taken ownership of their pub with the aid of funds donated by the villages themselves. Open every day for meetings, coffees etc and serving locally brewed beers. (Pennine,Wensleydale Black sheep etc) Apparently doing a bomb!
