So why haven't the EFL announced any punishment if any? What's the hold up and reasons behind it? Been thinking long and hard about this and have come to the conclusion that any points deduction, will not be announced until the season is over. Why? For the so called 'integrity' of the Championship. They want all teams to compete fairly on the pitch, they do not want teams fighting for their lives coming up against teams already on the beach. It seems that every day there is a game that can affect the relegation places from the Championship. If Wednesday are given a 12 point deduction now, how will that effect the players moral? How will teams like Boro, Birmingham and Huddersfield react knowing that they are virtually safe - especially if they're playing teams below them who aren't? And all three are playing Clubs below them in the league.

Surely the fact that the ground was purchased by a company that didn't exist when the funds were accrued into the accounts is the issue.

Sorry, but that's not correct. It really does depend on what the local plan for Hillsborough is. If it is purely for use as a sports club, then the ground would have a very low valuation for redevelopment as it could take years to get planning permission for housing. Not a cats chance in hell would any significant high rise development be allowed. The cost to demolish and decontaminate the land prior to construction would probably be in the region of £5m before you even dug the first trench. I would value Hillsborough as it is now - a football stadium. With the amount of money required to modernise it I would suggest that value would be no higher than £25m.

The actual wording is "Source and sufficiency of funding". It's not just proving you've actually got the funding, but proving that it's from a legitimate source.

Very, very amateur survey, with nothing but leading questions. Put together by idiots and aimed as if talking to five year olds. Everything about 'corporate', 'match day experience', 'half time entertainment' and veiled threats that everyone should expect year on year struggles unless you are prepared to pay significantly more for you ST and match day ticket prices. Bear in mind that income from match day tickets and 'customer' spend would account for about a third of income for the Club. TV money would account for another third and the Corporate, sponsorship and advertising revenue the final third - this is where income has drastically fallen off and is exactly where the fragrant new CEO should be focussing on, rather than pointless on line surveys to show the FA that the Club is 'communicating' with it's fanbase and listening to our 'customers' Instead of all this mucking about, how about putting together a well managed, superbly coached, stylish and determined bunch of players to actually win some games? Surely that's the whole reason for a football team? Win games, aim for promotion, get the excitement back - along with more fans. Oh no. It's more important to see if fans want more vegetarian choice at the poor quality, over expensive and poorly service food outlets. FFS. We were warned.
