  1. They shouldn’t but it’s necessary in the world we currently live in
  2. I'm only 38 but I've always liked The Kinks - Dad's music collection!
  3. Got the Kinks 'Dedicated Follower of Fashion' in my head now
  4. I was thinking 6: 2 goals = 1 min 30 secs per sub = 4 mins(?) injury time = 1 min There was then a 2 min stoppage about 94ish so it was always going to go a minimum of 10 Just knew they were getting one more chance Great effort though
  5. I know quite a few who unfortunately for whatever reason “being there” is non negotiable. It’s like talking to a brick wall
  6. You really are missing the point here and making yourself look very silly. I cannot stand not being at games (something I’ve done for 25 years) and have not been all season despite having paid for a season ticket. I haven’t got money to burn.. this simply comes down to a matter of PRINCIPLE and the bigger picture, not “getting your moneys worth” and turning up for the sake of it. I can’t wait to get back in that ground but that won’t be happening until Chansiri no longer owns the club.
  7. Thats far too many, POTG should be 200 - 300 tops
  8. The worst one for me is the over (and wrong) use of the word “literally” heard someone say “I literally died of embarrassment” the other day
  9. it’s what me and 4 others did today. Paid for a ST but this has nothing to do with money, it’s about principle and trying to get him out I really don’t get the “I’ve paid so I’m going” argument. Just don’t go, and do something else
  10. Yep that’s fair enough, I thought it might of originated in Europe. I was thinking more in the UK
  11. To be fair Rangers were the first to do it around 10-15years ago without the ‘allez’ testicles (same song) when they were in the lower league and it sounded very good, main reason being because it was original. Once everybody does it that’s what make the chant annoying and rubbish.
  12. Buxton v Curzon Ashton for me tomorrow
  13. Doing my family a disservice here, it’s actually me + 4 for the whole season unless he’s gone
  14. Add me to that list. Early bird ST and no more home or away including league games until that ******** has gone. Having a really tough time accepting that people I usually drink with at football who are Wednesday to the core continuing to go home and away but in addition doing absolutely nothing differently to show any animosity to the ‘chairman’
  15. I don't know if you've noticed but Chansiri has spoiled the season and every outing at Hillsborough already
  16. That Norwich game on 5th Nov could less than 14,000 inside the ground (officially 18,000 with STs counted)
  17. outside. Not stepping foot in any ground until he’s sold up
  18. Me and 4 others in our family have ST’s and have decided we aren’t stepping foot in any ground home or away until he’s gone. It’s each to their own but in my head if I go I’m condoning what’s happening or implying that it’s a normal season and as we know it isn’t. So yeah, no more for me until he’s gone, don’t care if I’ve paid. Im also wanting to pursue a refund and if I go then that claim is null and void
  19. You’re absolutely spot on about not enough people talking about this. At the end of the day this club is a big part of who we all are and if someone or something threatens to take that away it’s going to have a massive impact, regardless of how anyone’s mental health is before all of this kicked off. Personally Im very fortunate to have a comfortable and very full life away from football but it hasn’t stopped me having very low moods and lying awake at night worrying about how it’s all going to pan out. Stay strong and don’t be afraid to talk and open up about how you feel, it’s not soft or “woke” it’s bloody important
  20. You do you mate but for me it’s now about principle not money. I feel that by turning up (even after he’s had my ST money) I’m implying that everything is okay and it’s just another season. Everyone has a red line it just depends where yours is (some people just don’t have one)
  21. Got a ST, pursuing a refund but either way not going to another game until he’s sold up. 5 of us that been home and away for 15-20 years all in the same boat. Some people just aren’t that arsed about how the club is run, if there’s a team on that pitch they will be there - completely disagree with that approach but it’s each to their own
