  1. It looks that way. An appointment the majority of the fan base will get behind. I’m chuffed Will make the journey up north in a few weeks much sweeter
  2. There is no probably about it. You have to hit the ground running. The only project at Rangers is to win every week. As soon as the board and players realise that the better.
  3. I think Thelwell is a massive problem - he's appointed his mates from Everton and the appointment of his son absolutely reeks and don't get me started on the signing of Chermitti. There is nothing innovative about his approach at all - its just hoovering up crap from England. There's no data analytics, there's no money ball approach and its over priced crap too. I am not seeing a modernised approach from him at all and nor is there any long term strategic planning. The bigger worry is that is that Patrick Stewart is equally useless. Two of the worst ran clubs in the PL have been Man United and Everton and unbelievably we've appointed the CEO of one and the technical director of the other.
  4. No, he's not - but then again I'm not sure Martin has particularly helped. There is a typical english arrogance where they reckon they can just hoover up players from the championship, thinking they will find it a cakewalk in Scotland but time after time again they get found out because they can not meet the consistency, demands or expectation of this club. Gassama has been the shining light this season but he'll be much more effective when we get the ball quicker to him. Far too often he's found himself surrounded by three or four players because the way in which we've moved the ball has been slow and cumbersome.
  5. I think it has to be either Muscat or Gerrard but I wouldn't be surprised if Thelwell opted for Dyche given they worked together at Everton. Its not an appointment for ideologues or novices to work on projects which rules Röhl out for me. It has to be a figure head who is capable of raising the ever decreasing standards and a desire to win. Win at all costs. The two stand outs there are Muscat and Gerrard for me. He is without doubt though the worst manager I've seen at Rangers - not even PLG was this bad.
  6. He’s been sacked
  7. He’s gone tonight apparently. What a god awful, miserable experiment this has been
  8. Terrible news. His role at Wednesday should never be under estimated RIP Milan
  9. Scenes at the end when you got the winner
  10. It was on the verge of being corrupt! Ridiculous decision.
  11. Don't really understand the point of your post tbh mate, but eyup Greenowl.
  12. I sympathise on some of the recruitment because that has been taken over by Thelwell who is under qualified for a role at the club. His whole approach seems to be who can we pluck from the English divisions because its only little old Scotland. It is a graveyard for footballers who sign from England. They cannot cope with the demands or expectations of either club. Thelwell has somehow managed to put together a defensive line which is totally reliant on loans. Clearly they wanted Tavernier gone but Aarons is so bad that Tavernier is now the saviour. And do not get me started on spending £10m on this striker with no track record. It almost feels like Thelwell had done Everton a PSR favour. There is nothing else to say on Martin other than he is the most egotistical, arrogant **** I have ever set my sights upon. He just does not understand this football club. I thought Beale was an arrogant tosspot but he's nothing on this slimeball. I think both Edinburgh clubs have been excellent tbh though Hibs seem to be on a drawthon. I had doubts whether McInnes was the man to push Hearts forward but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I think the investment of Tony Bloom is a game changer and unless we seriously knuckle down and sort out our issues then we may end up being the third side in the Scotland and that seemed totally inconceivable a short while ago. I'd crawl over broken glass to have McInnes at Ibrox at the minute.
  13. He’s not going anywhere yet. Well wait for Hibs to boot us out the cup next week. delighted for derek mcinnes though - doing a terrific job.
  14. Iheeanacho signs for Celtic too. Crikey - that blokes had a good summer. He's about 5 stone overweight
