I think that scouting is quite a regular occurrence, think they just go out to EFL clubs to see their youngsters to see if anyone is worth keeping an eye on.

If it was the norm for play to automatically stop when a player goes down then any defender could just feign injury when they've been done by a striker through on goal and save themselves. That's why theyre always told to play to whistle so it's down to the ref to judge when play should stop. If Portsmouth have any complaints they should aim them at the ref.

I think this is why I stopped being annoyed at them cos I felt like it’s not my place to tell people what to do, but I think Neil is right that maybe they just need educating so they know that not going will eventually help the club. If they still want to spend loads of money to sit in silence and see their team lose easily then all power to them, I just don’t understand why they would.
