  1. No worries there mate. Cookie is a top bloke and will look after him as if he were one of our own.
  2. Quiet debut but like the look of him. Complete fluke of a goal but I'm sure he'll score some proper ones too.
  3. I think he's a cretin and has overseen wee wee tail-up after wee wee tail-up. There's absolutely nothing on his CV to suggest he's capable of fulfilling the job specification he has. I can only conclude than another with SWFC connections, who I know isn't popular here, thinks the sun shines out of his backside.
  4. Is he a popular figure amongst Sheffield Wednesday fans? I will choose my words carefully if so.
  5. Absolutely. And yet for half of last season Doyle's finishing was mainly shocking until something suddenly clicked. As a footballer I'm fully expecting the lad to be as good as Doyle.
  6. Even better when Chris Turner manages to turn his calculator around the right way round and work out why we're losing money.
  7. It's asking a lot to fill Doyle's boots in terms of goal but if he plays in a similar way, and the suggestion is he does, he will get chances. This lad sounds promising - shame the deal wasn't till the end of the season as our concern will be that if he does bang them in you may take him back.
  8. Is it pronounced Lay-very or Lavv-ery?
  9. Good to hear. Sounds like a decent player. Cheers.
  10. Deal hasn't been done yet. Should be a formality though assuming he arrives in Cardiff.
  11. What can we expect from Lavery? What sort of player is he?
  12. He's not. Signed a new contract in the summer.
  13. I'd be interested in the idea. But not for Madine as he's a donkey and a liability off the pitch.
  14. He's said to be worth £1,450m. A billionaire in American numbers. Other than finding a way to get round FFP rules this fella could spend £100m and not miss it.
  15. Doyle's goalscoring has come a little out of the blue this season though he has improved massively. I'm not really bothered where he goes, if he does, but I'd imagine a seven figure price tag would put him out of reach of SWFC. Bristol City, with their mega rich owner, would seem to be favourites at the minute.
