Doesn’t make you less of a fan. I was responding to a question about ‘support’. I’ve been a fan where I haven’t been able to justify the expense of going to games. I loved games on TV and doing what I could when I could.
I understand people’s interpretations of support are different, and some may not agree there is a difference been a fan and a supporter (which is fine), but I like to support the club by attending games and cheering in the players. Just my preference. No slight on anyone that can’t or chooses not to.
But don’t tell me I support Man City for some bizarre reason. Just because I don’t necessarily believe Symon had proved genuine proof of funds. Or that I don’t believe DC will speak to a guy that doesn’t have the funds to purchase the club.
Unless it’s acceptable for other to challenge my credentials as a supporter? But it’s not acceptable for me to share an alternative view that other, quite rightly, may not agree with?
