  1. Weaver. Bannan has been class, but this lad has been thrown in out of absolutely nowhere and playing beyond comfortably at this level. I genuinely think we might be seeing the biggest talent to come out of our academy in the last 25 years.
  2. Got to take some firm action at some point, not looking like a sale is anywhere close and from what’s in the media it sounds like he’s clinging on until it’s taken from his grasp. It’s been 6 months on payment issues at this point, can’t just expect everyone to plod along whilst he waits for a magical money tree to appear.
  3. Whilst disappointing for Blackburn I think the EFL are in a difficult position and can’t really win in this position of deciding the result. Had Ipswich been winning 1-0 against ten men do I think Blackburn would be advocating for an Ipswich win? No, absolutely not. Games are supposed to be played over 90 minutes to determine a result and due to the weather that wasn’t possible. Was it likely Ipswich score in the final 10? No, but certainly not unheard of. I personally think my biggest gripe would be Jacob Greaves’ red card still standing. Utterly outrageous the game being deemed void that a suspension still stands.
  4. A game needs abandonment. The news is he’s clinging on, trying to scrape together whatever pay day loan he can so he can prolong his stat but with every new attempt to get money into the football club it’s just kicking the can down the road and further endangers Sheffield Wednesdays existence.
  5. I didn’t say as a starter necessarily. But with our predicament playing 40 times in one capacity or another is feasible and essential to his development in the long run
  6. Saw enough in the cup games to think we have a gem. For once looking at the bigger picture the best thing we can do is getting 40 plus games under his belt ready for League 1.
  7. 2nd time I’ve seen Weaver. Looks very a very good CB. Says a lot he’s trusted to play in the centre of a back 5.
  8. Can’t moan at Armstrong in our position. Sensible signing.
  9. Charles’ distribution is unbelievable
  10. Weaver looks impressive.
  11. Personally I’d look to sign some experienced players on one year deals and some young loans at the top of the pitch. Try and stay in the division whilst hoping a sale is concluded.
  12. Don’t blame them at all, they have my full support. They’re probably considering their notice now and why risk an injury in a training match?
  13. I don’t even think it’s dramatic to say at this point we could go down as one of the worst Championship sides in history. There is also a chance a couple more may end up terminating. Finally, I say fair play to Windass & Smith who are both at an age where they will probably get one last decent move and shows again Chansiri’s ineptitude as we could have taken money for both over the last 12 months.
  14. Huge news. Seems Chansiri wants out ASAP, although maybe it’s more needing out than wanting. Hopefully this gets done quickly and we can start rebuilding the club off the pitch before we all get excited about what’s going to happen on it.
  15. Biggest indicator that new owners may be close, although I’m still sceptical with us selling Gassama! I don’t imagine for one second he’d return to the current mess working with Chansiri so fingers crossed. Cautiously optimistic the end of Chansiri is near.
  16. I’ve always advocated for Chansiri to sell players and reinvest the money. But selling players to pay debts shows where we are. God knows what 11 we’ll put out against Leicester in a months time.
  17. He must be in the toilet if he’s planning on selling players, something he’s been massively reluctant to do over the past 10 years!
  18. Positive however I’m still cautious when it comes to anything with Chansiri. I still think it could possibly get worse before it gets better. Looks like the pot has ran out and the walls are closing in. I always believed his family through TUF were helping him out and I genuinely think that after their strange statement distancing themselves from Sheffield Wednesday that was moment they pulled the plug with the all the negative media attention is was attracting.
  19. Personally I have no interest in anything he’s got to say. All that will come from this will be him point scoring, passing blame, playing the victim, causing division, being confrontational and being completely out of touch with the club. He’s been here 10 years now, there’s nothing he could say in that fans forum that would deter me from wanting him gone.
  20. If Danny wants Southampton and Southampton want Danny it’ll get done. To take this team from dead and buried over a year ago to sitting comfortably in 9th is impressive but I suspect that’s the ceiling for what can be achieved here at Wednesday with current finances.
  21. I think some criticism is fair for the start. We looked very good playing 3-4-2-1 at the end of last season and I feel he’s changed to a more ball dominant 4-2-3-1 and it’s not looked great other than Plymouth. Away from home we need to be more pragmatic.
