  1. I have a 103 mile running race on the Saturday and will be going to the game on the way home. I may not be able to stand, I may not have had any sleep, but I’m 100% behind the planned protest and will be proud to stand alongside fellow Wednesdayites whilst supporting the team and protesting against the regime.
  2. Need 1 adult ticket, is this still available? I would have PM’d but I can’t
  3. We have tickets, reserve list doing its job.
  4. Its on my to do list for today.
  5. Taking the 8 year old daughter to Charlton, we have trains and a hotel booked. She’s a Charlton veteran, this will be her 3rd trip, despite us both being season ticket holders we weren’t able to get tickets. We are on the reserve list and are trying to source in the home end. Even looking at mascot packages…… Don’t suppose anyone has a couple of spares going??
  6. In need of an adult and a child ticket, willing to pay for two adult tickets. If there’s any going spare please get in touch.
  7. Frankly I don't care if its the longest thread with only one poster. I'm sloggin my guts off running a marathon a day, raising money for disadvantged children in the UK and not one person on wonderful Owlstalk has wished me luck. This home and away day regular won't be using this site again.
  8. Day 6 blog, happy place today. Please read, comment and share. http://bit.ly/143en89 10 marathons, 10 days Dildo watch back on.

  12. I've posted in here previously telling people about my 10 marathons in 10 consecutive days to raise money for Brathay Trust. Sheffield Wednesday have kindly donated a signed shirt for me to auction. Please take a look and bid generously. http://bit.ly/18zhgAw Brathay Trust, who help disadvantaged children in the UK. Taking kids that have been expelled from school, abused, had a tough time in care and giving them skills and confidence to reintegrate back into main stream life. They are so successful they reduce re offending rates by approximately 70%. So I think you'll agree a wonderful cause, particularly in the current economic climate. http://www.justgiving.com/JohnG10in10
  13. That would be ace if you could do that Trev, whos the best person to contact at Wednesdayite?
  14. Right fellow Wednesdayites I need your assistance. On Friday 10th May I will start the first of 10 marathons in 10 consecutive days on the same course running round Lake Windermere in the Lake District, thats 262 miles. The club have kindly donated a signed shirt which I will collect at the match on Saturday and auction to the highest bidder early next week. They are also putting a section in the programme about my challenge, so MASSIVE kudos to them. My Wednesday credentials are fairly respactable, I'm a home and away regular, travelling to home games from Harrogate and my away trips this season include Cardiff, Millwall and Watford among many others. Its fair to say fitting in training, work and Wednesday hasn't been easy. I'm doing all this to raise money for Brathay Trust. These people help disadvantaged children in the UK. Working with youngsters that have been through the care system, kicked out of school, involved in gangs, basically haven't had the luckiest of starts to their lives. Brathay work with these kids to give them the skills to allow them to reintegrate back into the real world and reduce reoffending rates by a MASSIVE (!) 70%. Every penny raised goes directly to these youngsters. I've seen some of the amazing work they do, truly inspiring. I managed to get hold of s signed Sunderland shirt and was overwhelmed by there generosity, raising over £300 for the shirt and indivudal donations, but I'm convinced Wednesdayites are more generous. So if you have any spare change or maybe due to the early kick off you'll have 1 less pint then feel free to donate this money to Brathay. Right now it helps my nerves before I attempt the challenge. Follow the journey on Twitter at @oh_johnny_boy Or donate at http://www.justgiving.com/JohnG10in10 UTO - and thank you PS - I'm sure the shirt will be very popular once we avoid relegation on Saturday
  15. Not long to go on this folks, please get yourself bidding. I paid £100 for it and its looking like it might go for less than this, a bargain, but ALL the money from the successful bid will go to The Brathay Trust.
