  1. Really good player. Doesn’t shirk a tackle. Happy with the ball at his feet and to run at the opposites. has a promising future ahead. Hopefully other clubs see the positive place we can be for upcoming talent
  2. No idea why anyone would go but a great effort to pretty much empty the stadium from the majority. my guess is that if we keep boycotting games then the few that go will slowly dwindle away. for me, although I don’t understand why they would attend, I think we should try to keep our anger focused on the true villain. If a small minority want to pay large sums for a dreadful match day experience then so be it
  3. Our bench for tonight tells you everything you need to know about what’s been done to this squad shocking feel for the lads, if we concede 6 I won’t be surprised. massively unfair on everyone. I have zero issues with any players performance, the effort levels have been off the charts this season
  4. He is not the problem here. The fact we have no keepers available now and had to get a 4th choice keeper from a division below is the issue. hes had some good games and some not so good. It’s a rubbish situation he is in and looks to be conducting himself in the right manner
  5. Sheffield Wednesday sponsored by “Umbongo Bingo’ not sure when we shout a collective Umbingo… we sure now have them all
  6. Will be a good test to see if the new regulator has any teeth… if they can’t sort out DC then they hold next to no power
  7. I’m still not sure on the appeal of turning up to any home game at the mo. We are a tough watch and this is only going to get worse. Wouldn’t surprise me if there is a steady drop off as we head into winter. sooner all this is over the better
  8. Just crazy people are buying tickets. The prices are scandalous anyway even without the backdrop of what is going on
  9. Tough watch really. They could have scored more. Just not enough going forward, lots of effort but not enough quality
  10. Love the fact the younguns are happy to put the boot in
  11. Fair play, some proper character for the goal and quality too. big shout out to Brown and Lowe for their effort in the match interested to see what grainier can do
  12. I’m not going to slate those have gone, although I don’t agree with their stance. I will say well done to all those who are at home this evening
  13. I’m not going to skate those have gone, although I don’t agree with their stance. I will say well done to all those who are at home this evening
  14. Think we will get absolutely hammered tonight. Will be cheering the lads on from the armchair though
  15. The only way to get a change is to empty the ground and not put a penny in til hes gone. No other outcome leads us to having any influence on whether he sells or not
  16. Think I’d rather have Ugbo than Lowe on. Oh no… Bannan down
  17. 5 - 7 million for me would be market value… everyone knows we are skint though so that drives down the price. If he is sold it means a takeover is not only not on the horizon but more likely months/years off
  18. Good player on his day, obviously has injury problems… don’t like the stealing a wage sentiment, don’t think he’s asked to be injured or not wanting to play/train. the pre season we have had cannot have given him the best chance to go into the season match fit, and on the first game the players run themselves ragged… we will probably see more of this nice message from him. We don’t need to turn on the players at this time, they really aren’t the problem
  19. The players dug really deep yesterday, showing so much character and fight. if the club could be sold then there is a core there to build on. But without additions the team will quickly fade playing with that intensity. we are nailed on to go down we will at least put up a fight along the way so proud of everyone involved in the club yesterday
  20. Players can’t refuse to play due to contracts… wouldn’t be sad if they kick off then sit on the pitch for 90 mins probably going to get battered today not sure I’d even want us to win as it might prolong the agony (I know how unlikely this is) basically I’m not looking forward to this. But will watch on sky out of morbid curiosity thoughts are with everyone today. Hoping sky do a good piece on us in the build up
  21. Hillsborough needs significant investment if it is to be the long term home, it pretty much needs completely redeveloping and the capacity could be increased. problems will remain for flooding and transport links if we stay but I do believe it could be made great again. however I do think a new stadium would set us up for the long term (can debate capacity another day). Two big issues in Sheffield if you build a new stadium, where do you put it (we are hilly as fizz and the flat bits tend to flood) and having to deal with Sheffield city council, the most inept bunch. would want any new stadium to be more central not further out of town
  22. If we can get DC out of the club I do think the embargo elements can be overturned… any punishments that result in points deduction I think will stand. problem for the efl is that the club is effectively worthless if the embargo’s stay innplace
