The Pigs Are Terrified
Elvin Parsnip replied to Furious George's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Wilder was just being passive aggressive by saying we would have been out of sight in a sly dig making us think what could have happened and we wasted a massive opportunity when in reality we would have most likely done the same as Hull did and failed spectacularly as we had a bad owner like Hull. -

Heart ache Bonnie Tyler I think -
Sheffield arena is a good shout as council would probably sell the land as its getting tired and no one big plays there anymore.

Hope its true but the Waltons could buy a premier league club if they wanted. Maybe they like a challenge and could buy us for a say 60 million then build us up costing say 500 million then sell us for a billion

That made me laugh out load and it takes a lot for me to do that. Thanks mate

some chant featuring us no doubt -
No point in signing a Striker we are down so dont need goals we need a midfielder to take the load off Baz so he's not broken for next season

Oh and the wage cap surely can be lifted when we get new owners
-
Its the fee restriction that is the big one that needs shortening.

Americans already have loads of owners in the Prem and only need two more to make sure they have the deciding vote on no relegation. Then maybe the super league comes as they will need some sort of exactment to keep the fans engaged
-
Its mainly Americans buying clubs like Wrexham and Birmingham as they know if they get two more owners in the Prem they can vote for no relegation so its a scramble to get in the Prem before this happens.

The new owner needs to pay 13.5 million to Chansiri then 25p in the pound to the rest of the unsecured creditors so maybe 20million in total -

Is a football atmosphere that important?

I think the Leeds crowd being small helped the young lads as they would have been nervous in front of 20 odd thousand. Most big attendances at Hillsborough end up with us winning in my memory anyway -

All they have to look at is how many people were interested in buying them when they were a top three Championship recent Premier league side and how long it took to sort out and then compare that with how many interested parties are looking at us who are a League 1 club unless a miracle happens with loads of restrictions and embargos. -
Said the exact same thing to the person stood next to me afterwards
