  1. This should be the reasoning and, hopefully, the official wording
  2. Yes it was only when Liam switched to the right and he had an out and out winger trying to defend against him that he looked anything like the player Sky were wetting themselves over before the game.
  3. Exactly what I said a few posts earlier but you said it more succinctly. Even I understand what I meant now
  4. Buy it now while there is a chance to save a year's wasted time in League 1 if we can get some decent frees and loans in before the transfer deadline. We could also get a clear run at the January window. There's no point waiting until DC inflicts even moree damage just to save a few million while knowing we will definitely be relegated and also risking someone else beating you to the take over.
  5. I'm not saying it can't happen. I think we are very close to being kicked out of the league but I am not wishing for it to happen as I think it is the worst of all outcomes apart from liquidation.
  6. It would be the end of Sheffield Wednesday.
  7. How does being kicked out of the league help? Presumably Chansiri will still own us and presumably nobody will want to take us over.
  8. Does clicking the link have the desired effect after reading the article on here?
  9. Sky News reporting it is Cifuentes for Leicester.
  10. I'm sure that must be the case. If this doesn't come off now Rob Staton has said it Owlstalk will be on suicide watch.
  11. NoI'm not having it. Not true. Woke BBC bias as usual. Defund them.
  12. 15 might make sense if it is working days - 3 full weeks. 14 calendar days is 2 full weeks. Anybody's guess at the moment without proper clarification.
  13. His son was really good in Chernobyl. I didn't know who he was when watching the series but he was so like Richard Harris I had to google to check.
  14. Don't forget Cromwell with Alec Gunness as Charles I. Great film - got me through part of the History A level syllabus. No, I wasn't the teacher
  15. He was a gibbering wreck in the interview. Trump makes more sense occasionally. It was a bit sad to seeI t will be ok though as I have already made my pronouncement "he won't win while he has a hole in his a**e". It worked for Andy Murray and Matt Fitzpatrick so lump on.
  16. He said publicly that Antonio did not have a football brain and let him go to Forest for a pittance. At the same time he said he could rely on Maghoma!!. Bilic played Antonio in the Premier League at right back, right wing and centre forward. Röhl would have built the team around him.
  17. Do you mean EFL rather than FA?
  18. I never had any symptoms apart from I had a slightly low iron count and was given iron tablets. I looked up what can cause low iron on the internet and worked my way past all the cancers and decided to choose coeliac disease! Then I remembered my dad had it so I asked to be tested and relatively fortunately it proved to be the case. I've never had any reactions on the odd occasion I've accidentally had gluten since so I presume I caught it in the very early stages. I presume from what you've said you are gluten intolerant rather than coeliac. I suppose in that case your family told you to stop being a fussy eater until your symptoms began to affect them!!
  19. Should have a health warning on this post! Not just for the threat of euthanisation. Last time somebody on here posted about marmite I thought "I haven't had marmite for years". Next day I went out and got some. After eating about 4 slices of toast I realised why I had stopped having it. I stopped when I was diagnosed with coeliac disease. I'd forgotten it contains gluten. Keep your bright culinary ideas to yourself in future !!
  20. Hirst. The complete CF. Waddle and Di Canio were great but Hirst shades it.
  21. Definitely, and still woefully underrated /unknown by a lot of the general public. Another great singer is Frankie Miller who is also less well known than he should be. I found Elvis Costello to be a much more achievable target to aim for while still falling short.
  22. I suppose formative TV would be Dr Who Carry On films Blue Peter/Magpie Match Of The Day Horse Racing - working out bets transformed my maths and deciphering Raceform Up To Date helped my reading
  23. Yes I agree with that. That album inspired my singing career. The Bad Company album made me realise I was wasting my time
  24. Listing seems to be fashionable as the takeover fever spreads so here goes..... Old School TV - No particular order - just what spring to a rapidly failing mind!! Simpsons The Loudest Voice Band Of Brothers Chernobyl Line Of Duty Greens 1. Sprouts 2. Cabbage 3. Broccoli 4. Spinach 5= Peas + Runner Beans First forays into proper music Eric Clapton - 461 Ocean Boulevard Cream - Heavy Cream compliation Supertramp - Crime Of The Century Jethro Tull - Living In The Past compilation Bad Company - Bad Company
