It’s possible that some bidders are only interested if they can build a new stadium. Those kind of bidders are who we need imo. Properly ambitious owners who want to revolutionise the club. So failure for the council to provide options / support could lose some big players.

It’s inevitable because people want different things from the club. Let’s just try and stay friends.

I would love us to stay at Hillsborough what we do with it depends on what kind of vision the new owners have for it. my preference would be a rebuild of the west, north and Kop to tie in with the south stand, and extend the catering areas of the south into the stand and relocate the function rooms into the new stands. I think it’s doable.

They are both club legends but I don’t think the time is right. In my view, when Bannan retires / leaves SWFC, there will be an argument for one of him. He has single handedly kept this team afloat the last few years and dedicated himself to the club at times when most would have jumped ship. What he has done this season has seriously gone above and beyond. Palmer - yes a legend but I don’t think the same applies.

He’s been superb and is learning quickly. Clearly benefiting from the situation. Bannan is very vocal with him in games too, which is helping.

South stand trial bar has a bottom fill pre-pour system. Seems pretty rapid. Have faith in the admins - I’m sure they will roll it out everywhere.
