'The State of Sheffield Wednesday' fan survey - The Star
DAMMOowl replied to Toadie's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Completed one of thousands i hope WAWAW -
Season ticket holder since 1990 supported since 1958. I will be staying away till the narcissistic idiot has gone. This bafoon has spoiled the excitement and pleasure I get from watching my beloved Owls, I find no pleasure in turning up knowing the result will be a defeat but this is no fault of the players who are giving 100%. We have to face facts some were fringe players and young players doing their best but are not quite ready yet, so thanks a lot you Thai biggot my seat will be empty till you've gone.

I was there 15 years old my boss gave me his season ticket in the north stand as he couldn't make it. I remember Jack Whitam scored 4 goals and I remember Don Megson had an absolute screamer disallowed because someone was offside at the other side of the pitch nowhere ear the play.

Whelmometer - where is your whelm?
DAMMOowl replied to heppers's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It was bad in 1975 when the star had a SAVE OUR OWLS campaign but this is the worse ever, the man is a biggot and a stubborn dictator who has no football business knowledge and will never be advised. GET OUT OF OUR BELOVED CLUB ONCE AND FOR ALL. -

My experience working at Sheffield Wednesday
DAMMOowl replied to RumbleOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
As a conformation to this story I'd like to add another instance, from time to time during a season I would have a box for my customers. I used to deal with the hospitality manager to book the box, I once booked the box and had booked one well in advance to get it on the halfway line but 3 days before the match he rang me apologising but Mr Chansiri wanted the box for his family coming over to watch the match. I had to move boxes as Chansiri wouldn't take no for an answer. Then the price of a box went up from £1,400 to £1,600 then after that at a later match i was told the price was £2000, so I booked it and paid the balance but the week after the match the manager rang me apologising and asked me for another £200 as Chansiri had put the price up again to £2,200. Then the next season I rang the manager on his mobile to book a box to hear him explain he'd left the club and gone to another local club, he explained he could not work for Mr Chansiri anymore as he had to ask his permission to buy pens or paper clips and he wouldn't trust him to do the job he was paid to do which was manage. This describes our owner to a T and the reason he seems to fall out with all our managers good or bad I rest my case. I'm so disheatened with the state of my beloved club -
Boycott Bristol match show solidarity

Boycott Bristol match show solidarity
DAMMOowl replied to DAMMOowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Thanks for making my point about solidarity mate. -
The only answer is solidarity, don't argue between ourselves. Just stay away from the Bristol City match to let our owner realise how massive the fan base is. I've supported my beloved club for 66 years I'm a season ticket holder and I've committed to the early bird ticket in December, so let's all be as one and Boycott the Bristol City match from a passionate fan. Have you been happy with our throw ins the last couple a seasons then me thinks you're easily pleased. It's basics and needs sorting mate
-
I'll forward it to our esteem owner, good luck there mate.
-
Thank god Danny read my column the throw ins were 100% better today with a nominated throw in coach . What a fantastic display from the 10 men, perfect forward thinking tactics from Danny . Hope you get the backing in January from the owner that you deserve mate. WAWAW
-
How is it when we get a throw in it's an advantage to the opposition, this is not a new thing as we've been hopeless with throw in's for some seasons now. Danny please allocate one of our coaches to educate whoever takes a throw in to at least reach one of our own players. It's not rocket science but a basic part of football that often puts us under pressure or leads to a goal against us. Very frustrated Owl Aaaaaaagh

He's only 79 and forgot more about football and spotting a player than Munoz will ever know.
-
We wasn't in the deep dooda that were in now then though.
-
A tried and trusted manager and advisor, would he be willing to sort the club and the clueless Mr Chansiri out for the fans ?????????
-
This is fact !! i used to deal with someone to hire a box for certain matches. I rang to book a box and found out he had left the club, this was a time when DC hicked the price from £1400 per box to £2200 per box after I'd settled the bill ar £2000 and after the match I was asked for another £200. The person in question told me he couldn't work for DC any longer as it was his way or no way no discussion. ENOUGH SAID.
-
Mark Robins would be the man for working on a shoestring which I think DC is offering. We're the club that keeps kicking the fans in the nuts unbelievable.
-
Harry Isted has been released by Luton so I think he would be a perfect replacement for Stockdale and would cost us nothing. Peacock Farrel NO, NO,NO,NO.
