  1. Thanks, I’ll check.
  2. I specifically asked to buy one and pay postage. I have been buying shirts for kids for years. I could easily continue to buy from the club but, as I said in my post, I wanted to support the ‘dont give money to Chansiri’ campaign. For you to suggest I was looking for a donation is pathetic at best and disgusting at worst.
  3. Not sure if this is in the right section but couldn’t find one that fitted? I buy shirts from time to time for kids in various countries where friends live. It more of a recruiting process really….get the kids signed up to the Owls before they are poached by other clubs. i normally buy at the end of the season to get better deals….however, I am supporting the ‘no money on Chansiri’s pocket stance by Wednesday fans. i want to buy a home shirt for a friends daughter who is keen to follow her two brothers into the Owls family (I bought them shirts last year). So I am looking to see if someone has a home shirt to fit a 10 year old girl (she is fairly small). I am not looking for a freeby and happy to pay for it plus postage. hope someone can help?
  4. Doncaster has been accepting private aircraft into the airport for ages.
  5. Have I missed a post more or other information but no mention about Palmer anywhere?
  6. At least 92? It’s not like young people are likely to be ******** Heads though is it
  7. I’m taking 6. Recruited 2 new adults and their boys too. They will be wearing their new shirts for their new team.
  8. Watching the game again yesterday is was clear, yet again, that our defence cannot deal with high balls into the penalty area, particularly at the back post from corners or crosses. This has been a consistent problem since the start of the season. I know we didn’t have Bernard yesterday and Iorfa is still out but even when they are playing we still can’t deal with these balls into the penalty area.
  9. Wilks scored a great goal in 90th minute.
  10. No contest. Wednesday every time. Feb up of watching the most boring tactics of the English games since Southgate was appointed. Many football mates have been hoping England lose in every game of the Euro’s in the hope Southgate would lose his job.
  11. It was a direct free kick offence. The ball was in play and the offence by a defender against an attacker was clear. If the offence was by an attacker against a defender in the penalty area (or outside it) it would have also been a direct free kick to the defender (team). The referee obviously didn’t have a good view of the offence and was asked by the VAR to look at it. The referee determined it WAS a direct free kick and therefore a penalty. The VAR did not make the decision.
  12. Great news. With a full pre-season and if he is free from injury, he will be one of the stars this coming season.
  13. Definitely stay. Was outstanding last season.
  14. Speaking to friends who are Leeds United season ticket holders. Their take on Poveda was that he showed some class when he first arrived but often drifted out of games or didn't turn up on some days. They also said his injury record is dire. Overall, they think he has the ability to be outstanding if he motivated by a decent manager (they don't rate their current manager) and he stays free from injuries.
  15. Definitely. However, I never understand the ‘fun at all cost and consequence’ such as balcony jumping.
  16. I thought about this when Musaba scored and received a yellow early in the game. A long time left to avoid another yellow.
  17. Bet you cry if we get relegated because of this. Pathetic comment.
  18. All clubs and players know that removing shirts during a match is a yellow card offence. Musaba and then Windass were both given yellow cards for this on Saturday. It is too easy to pick up a yellow card in games for a mis-timed tackle etc. if removing a shirt and a yellow card followed by another caution leads to one of our players being sent off against Sunderland, especially early in the game, we would be in trouble and could lose the match. Whilst I understand the jubilation a player feels when scoring, and I don’t agree it should be a cautionable offence, but it would be foolish for a player to take the chance of not receiving another yellow card. I hope the coaches point this out to all players before the Sunderland game.
  19. Bannon. Drive, leadership, 100% commitment.
  20. on Hull city fans forum: Don’t go to away matches very often and based on today that’s not going to change. **** ground that doesn’t appear to have changed that much since 1989, **** fans, **** club, **** weather, **** SYP (wtf was the policing in Leppings lane after the match about?!). No parking for away buses. Even the music was **** - there’s loads of great bands from Sheffield and they come out to Hi Ho ****ing silver lining? As for City, well bad day at the office, the red card did change things because although Wednesday were holding their own at that point, we have had matches where we’ve started slow and pulled ourselves up. We could have done that tonight. and it’s back to work tomorrow, whoopie ****ing do.
  21. If he did decide to sell, who would want to buy the club and how much is it worth given it is losing £2 million a month?
  22. I thought they battled tonight and were unlucky with the WB goal. Tactics decided by a clueless manager who has not given the players a settled team since the start of the season. Ban non and Windass would have given us much more if they had played. We were the better team for the last 20 mins even though Xisco made stupid substitutions which ruined the momentum and left us with no reserve when the injury came and we were down to 10 men. Until the manager goes the team will not gel.
