Problem is whilever there's a chance of this club, that runs through my family line like blood itself, making it through I can't commit to anything else. I'm not trying to be a smart arse here, because until a fortnight ago I'd have agreed with you. I was amazed to learn from someone who'd seen the lyrics written in the song writer's own handwriting (and these are also the lyrics given on the lyrics websites for Hooky Street). The line isn't 'rich or poor' and the rhyme isn't 'score' or 'store'! It is: "Black or white, rich or broke, We'll cut prices at a stroke." None of us in the audience could believe we'd got it wrong our entire lives!
