  1. Ive no idea. A fan on here said he went on the pitch and Bannan told him to get off?
  2. He runs across waving his arms and your own fans on here say he said get off the pitch. If im not mistaken, the fan who Bannan spoke to posted on here he was the fan that Bannan spoke to and that indeed was what he said.
  3. big difference in keeping your gob shut and Bannan running over to tell fans to get off the pitch imo.
  4. I get he is your best player but I do not understand that while you lot(correctly) want boycotts, pitch invasions, he wants to stop you going on the pitch as he just wants to play football, while the people who work around him at the club dont even get paid. To my view, hes saying yeah you lot want to protest but pack it in, I just wanna play football?
  5. Trust me...nothing is as bad as the song Leeds come out to at the moment. Like everyone else, we have to play the 'premier league anthem'. Then we play MOT before KO. Absolutely ridiculous and it gets boo'd at ER...not so sure about most grounds that have become accustomed to PL nonsense mind.
  6. Until that man people are financially supporting destroys the club and nobody can go see the team ever again.
  7. Lots of the ideas are good but its your fans that are the problem(sorry). Not enough of you can be arsed about your club enough to get on board and act.
  8. Wonder if they will be getting paid later this month? Its not the players. How the fizz do so many of your fans not understand.....
  9. I can never understand how a grown man takes a ******** trumpet to a football game.. 'im off to the match love' 'oh, don't forget your trumpet'. ******** hell
  10. Well I guess you mean they think Chansiri is doing an ok job or that giving him money dosnt impact on him staying (or if they dont care)? Not sure how else it can be construed. It ought to be clear enough to any follower of SWFC that Chansiri is very bad for SWFC and giving him money prolongs the pain the club, everyone employed by it and the fans have to endure.
  11. If the different point of view is 'lets try keep the man killing your football club in power a bit longer' is the different view...id say most fans of that club would be right to be unhappy with it.
  12. amazed somebody in your protest movement dosnt stand there with a discreet sign in each stand saying dont give Chansiri Money or something to that effect. Obviously cant confront people buying.
  13. Very well supported but as I mentioned, Chansiri is an idiot...Bates was not and he ran a concerted campaign of using funds and powers at his disposal to turn fan against fan. Some came down on the wrong side...but its easy to blame them when they were reading match day programme notes from Bates telling them the protestors were morons directly responsible for driving investment away from Leeds etc. He also tried to create Pro Bates supporters groups that got some tidy benefits over the existing traditional supporters groups...he knew exactly what he was up to.
  14. You are right but just to clarify, no disunity in the fanbase now, 100% unified (that happened with new ownership and even more so due to Bielsa). but I do want to clarify the chants I referred to are from other teams fans who didnt really appreciate there was a boycott on during the Bates era (tbf it was early days of all this financial around football rigmarole and we didnt have the experience of it then that most do now). Yes we had low crowds but many thousands were trying to starve Bates out and they vowed never to return until bates(and subsequently as it happened, Cellino/GFH afterwards).
  15. If chansiri does take your club down with him, these people saying they 'want to take the kids' can also explain to them at some point how they assisted the destruction of the club and ensured nobody can ever watch swfc again. The aforementioned kids included Imagine willing being complicit in harming the club that you claim to support.
  16. I cant remember really. There was a march from the city centre to the ground, think it was approx 4-5000 on it. Bates said (in true bates fashion) that he had a meeting with big potential investors that day and the protestors (the morons as he called them in the programme) had scared the investors away and all the 'proper fans' should tell them to stop. Loads were protesting and not going (we still get the 'where were you when you were poo' chants but many stayed away with the goal of saving the club). Bates was worse in some ways (and chansiri worse in others). Bates hired Private Investigators to follow and dig dirt on the leaders of the Leeds Supporters trust, then posted any dirty findings in the match programmes in pure, straightforward efforts to turn fan against fan. Bates knew what he was doing and he was far more active in trying to turn supporters against the protestors than Chansir has ever done. That was the problem, Bates wasn't daft, he knew what he was doing. He even lied saying he didnt own the club for 5 years until a court ordered him to disclose who owned it (shock, it was him). He had used that excuse to deflect from what he was doing...the intentional dismantlement of Leeds United. Chansiri is just an idiot, nothing clever about anything he does imo. He also had 'purple jacket' security that watched the leaders of the protests and threw people out/banned than for any reason at all....at one point I think there were over a 1000 banned from ER. Bates and the Bates/Cellino era is one of the reasons I could see what Chansiri was so early, all the signs were there and especially the ground sale. Not a genius or anything, I knew nothing about all this prior to Bates and what we went through. It was all about the off field dealings for us for about 10 years much as it is at Hillsborough now.
  17. Back in the Ken Bates days, I always thought it was those who argued 'support the team' were the ones most likely to not be singing and supporting the team.....
  18. If you are still going you are not a hard core fan...you are just daft, giving money to Chansiri, undermining your fellow fans who are trying to do something about the situation and ownership. You are far more loyal/hard core if you are sacrificing your match going for the long term benefit of the club you support atm.
  19. Yeah thats told us... 3 points from first two games, absolutely any promoted team would take that.... and yes, your fans will be getting abuse for turning up and putting money in your owners pockets and yes, you know we are right.
  20. Players will be well aware the protests and boycotts are aimed at the owner, not the players. These young players have been thrown in at the deep end (and often not paid) because of Chansiri and chansiris direct actions.
  21. I've been pretty fair on here I think? I live very close to the ground and given plenty of input re protests(experience due to bates).
  22. Yes thats about right...wherever we go, its a low key affair and the opposition fans are not usually fussed they are playing Leeds.....
  23. No chance. Much more likely those Wednesday fans in attendance...putting money in to Chansiris pocket are going to get 90 mins of 'killing your club, to watch the leeds' and similar...and imo they deserve it. I recall your lot singing about partying when Derby die etc. I do have respect for those boycotting, it should have started en masse long ago but those in the ground should be in for it....and I am sure we will oblige.
  24. The ball wasn't going to hit his arm until he decided he was going to make sure it did..... Much bigger talking point SHOULD be the foul that has put our Captain on the injured list until after the international break that the everton player only got a yellow for.....
  25. How would he handle it if they were behind his back? Only he knows...but I can say this for sure, he deliberately leaned towards the ball which ensured the ball would hit his arm, stopping the goal bound shot. Its not like a cross that was fired in from 2m away from the defender. If you dont give penalties for what he did, it opens it up to any defender can block a shot with the atm, so long as they keep the arm tucked in. He knew exactly what he did...cmon.
