  1. Not sure how they calculated it, but Barcelona made losses of £408m in 20/21. I'm pretty sure we did a smidge better than that...
  2. Mixed fans as well. I've spent many a game sat amongst the opposition fans and the worst thing that's ever happened was some off-key singing. That's after a skinfull before and during the game. Different mentality altogether.
  3. Be more inventive? You mean make it up basically.
  4. Surely if he was just stating the bleeding obvious, he'd have a near 100% record?
  5. The 209 appearances and 5 different managers say different
  6. Was our top assiter whilst he was here though...
  7. You get beaten half to death by the prison guards on a regular basis until they go a bit too far one night and they get beaten all the way to death. Oh, did you want the comedy response? *ahem* Being in prison is like going on holiday for us gays, locked in a building with a load of other guys... hellllloooooo
  8. They'll be buying a World Cup next...
  9. And Mandela Egbo was assaulted by a Port Vale supporter last night. 'Swindon players 'physically abused' by fans after play-off defeat to Port Vale' http://www.skysports.com/share/12617114
  10. Sentiments and attitudes like yours are heartening to see, people like you are most definitely part of the solution. The political climate has lead to people feeling emboldened to air their privately held prejudices (not just homophobia sadly) and there is a 'I don't see it, so it doesn't exist' mindset in many as well. 1 in 5 LGBTQ+ people have experienced a hate crime or incident in the last 12 months, 2 in 5 trans people have experienced similar and 4 in 5 of these crimes go unreported. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-60257602 https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/oct/12/hate-crimes-in-england-and-wales-up-9-since-covid-pandemic-began https://www.stonewall.org.uk/lgbt-britain-hate-crime-and-discrimination
  11. We're OK as a nation, but things have definitely been getting worse, not better in the last few years. I'd go into specifics as to why that is, but that is more for the politics section I suspect. The point I was making was in response to a poster claiming that being Muslim was part of the problem (when very obviously other religions are just as anti-LGBTQ+) and that they should move to another country because the UK is apparently a gay utopia (Which from personal experience, I can confirm it is not).
  12. Yeah, because Christianity has been *ever* so supportive of LGBTQ+ people and the UK *definitely* doesn't have problems with homophobia...
  13. Why is it stupid?

  15. Ben Foster leaving Watford. Be a very good short-term replacement for BPF with the view to moving into coaching.
  16. Well done Jake Daniels. Further building on the positive steps made by people like Josh Cavallo and Tom Daley, an openly gay, male, professional sportsman is exactly the kind of role model younger LGBTQ+ players need to let them know that their sexuality is not restricting factor. Huge kudos!
  17. This kind of indefensible sh*t has been coming for the last couple of years. Too many 'fans' have been condoning this kind of behaviour on matchdays and no doubt there will be plenty celebrating it. Unless things change and change pretty quickly, we'll be back behind fencing I suspect.
  18. Yeah, but the weekly Whodunnit night would be an absolute banger...
  19. Which (I'm assuming, admittedly) will all be put in the 2021/22 accounts, allowing us to spend (up to) £12.5m on whatever we like, without incurring p&s penalties.
  20. We're going to have a windfall next season with the accounts, potentially up to £12.5m to be claimed back.
  21. Pleat took us from a top half team to regular relegation battlers, something nearly 30 years later we haven't recovered from imo. He brought a losing attitude that still infects the club to this day.
  22. I'd rather sh*t in my hands and clap than have that bellend Terry anywhere near our club.
