I’m the black sheep of the family, rest are Barnsley fans. Dad never took me to oakwell as worked most weekends, my best mate was a season ticket holder in the Kop with his dad. They took me to a game and I got hooked. Helped that David Hirst was from my home village too so when I started playing youth football he was always the end of season trophy presenter. Saved my paper round money every week to go to home games. My mate moved away when I was 14 but I still went to games, usually on my own. 36 years I’ve been going, home and away. Both my lads are wednesdayites, both attend with me. It’s our thing, our time together. Train in from Barnsley, pub crawl up the the ground, missus picks us up after the game at middlewood and we have a few more in oughtibridge before going back. Home game ritual.

It’s only last week that Nixon said price was under 75 mil so as always take this report with a pinch of salt!

The early payment of compensation money from DR going to Southampton paid for them……….oh wait…….

I’m parking at the Gol 5 a side centre which is 10 mins walk from the ground. Advance booking, £10 to park but you get a £9 voucher for the bar! Can be a bit poo to get away after the game however bars open so waiting there for traffic to clear a bit before leaving

Never been to an away game on the coach, states depart Hillsborough, is that from stadium and which part. Also need advice for where to leave the car too if anyone would be so kind to help

So happy that I get to go to the Coventry fa cup game…..tickets arrived today…….. seriously though, not one to slag the club off for , postmark is 2nd Jan on these….Royal Mail are a farce!

this……does all the hard work getting into a great position but final ball or decision making can be lacking. Get that right and with currrent stats could be a very good player

Just messaged our postie, she says they are delivering parcels but not letters at the minute….direction from management as they have penalties for non delivered parcels but nothing for letters…..since they went private they are awful, usual Stuff, profits over customer satisfaction

Not arrived, popped into ticket office on way home, placed on list for pick up tomorrow at the away ticket stand….hundreds in the same situation according to the ticket office staff. Royal Mail really are a joke now

I’m putting money on this…..move to new stadium next season, facilities are good, new owners have money this window for transfers, can’t argue about the size of the club!

Mines have not arrived yet….anyone in the same situation? Probably the weather slowing deliveries but getting jumpy now as staying elsewhere Friday night before travelling to this game! Anyone ever not not tickets arrive for an away game? What was the solution? Take receipt to the grounds ticket office as proof of purchase for a replacement?
