in a moment of madness in April I booked to do the Benidorm half marathon this weekend, as per my luck fixtures come out and boom….this weekend we play the pigs. Anyway, as Sunday will be my celebration/recovery day, anyone else in Benidorm gonna be watching the game and if so, what bar?? Would prefer to be in bar with other Wednesday fans

I like the 4 game voucher idea, great for casual supporters Didn’t we have a scheme (club 1867?) where if you paid I think it was 6k you got a 10 year ticket that the 10 years didn’t start until we reached the premier league so years til then were free, or have I dreamt that! If we did what a bargain the people that committed got!

He’ll win the league next season, record points total. Good showing in champions league as well as they will finish 2nd this season. A very big club will take notice and off he will go, probably back to Germany. This…..I went to a Chelsea game a couple of years ago (tickets for troops) and they do the pre-pay tokens. At half time they had a load of tables set up with pre poured pints. Hand a token over, pick up pint, worked like a dream. Left the kiosks free for anyone not wanting alcohol, slick operation, maximising revenue! Not sure how they could make this work in Kop or North where space can be limited but could be looked at.

Would love for the extended intro waterfront to be played before teams come out ….that long intro just builds up the anticipation and noise

Points this season Bring players in January that will strengthen the team for next season creating an established core. Use the second half of the season like an extended pre season. Get them playing together, developing tactics and an understanding of each other ready to hit the ground running. Bring in a few more in the summer to further strengthen/add some flair and the team should give us the platform to push for promotion. Can’t afford to start slow next year, need to do a Birmingham!

What’s happened in the last 24hrs is nothing short of a miracle. Unbelievable amount of tickets and merchandise sold, boosting the clubs accounts however we (and it is us paying it!) have a wage bill to pay on Friday. If you can go, please buy Norwich tickets early. Every penny counts, let’s give the players and staff what they deserve…..payment in full and on time! I’m the black sheep of the family, rest are Barnsley fans. Dad never took me to oakwell as worked most weekends, my best mate was a season ticket holder in the Kop with his dad. They took me to a game and I got hooked. Helped that David Hirst was from my home village too so when I started playing youth football he was always the end of season trophy presenter. Saved my paper round money every week to go to home games. My mate moved away when I was 14 but I still went to games, usually on my own. 36 years I’ve been going, home and away. Both my lads are wednesdayites, both attend with me. It’s our thing, our time together. Train in from Barnsley, pub crawl up the the ground, missus picks us up after the game at middlewood and we have a few more in oughtibridge before going back. Home game ritual.

It’s only last week that Nixon said price was under 75 mil so as always take this report with a pinch of salt!
