    4 goals in 26 games for a Championship winning team is not prolific. Most goals scored in a season, 11, not prolific. Again, I'm not saying he's bad just think we'll have more of a Bothroyd than a Wickham!

    Unless Gray doesn't rate Nuhiu or Madine, (sure I read somewhere that he thinks Nuhiu would come good this season) I dont see the point in Wood signing. He's not gonna get us 20 goals this season, why not try bring in someone that could?

    Glenn Whelan, I never really got why everyone raved about him, everytime I saw him, he was shybo, too much of a nancy for a CM imo. My mate had this thing about Chris Brunt too, hated him, way too lazy when the ball wasn't played to his feet, used to say he ran like a girl too!

    I think Hinds was only kept on because of the financial situation, don't think Irvine is reet keen on him. Purse has improved no end since Irvine came in his distribution is terrible, you can just tell he's gonna lump it forward. Like you say he's the best of a bad bunch.
