4 goals in 26 games for a Championship winning team is not prolific. Most goals scored in a season, 11, not prolific. Again, I'm not saying he's bad just think we'll have more of a Bothroyd than a Wickham!

Cos its more like 44 in 160 odd. Which probably counts his time in New Zealand too.

So why sign Wood?

Unless Gray doesn't rate Nuhiu or Madine, (sure I read somewhere that he thinks Nuhiu would come good this season) I dont see the point in Wood signing. He's not gonna get us 20 goals this season, why not try bring in someone that could?

But not for Leicester, Brizzle City, Birmingham or Brighton. Not saying he's bad, but is he better than Nuhiu or Madine?

I don't get the spaff fest over Wood, he's hardly prolific.

Glenn Whelan, I never really got why everyone raved about him, everytime I saw him, he was shybo, too much of a nancy for a CM imo. My mate had this thing about Chris Brunt too, hated him, way too lazy when the ball wasn't played to his feet, used to say he ran like a girl too!
