Blaming the EFL is a complete waste of time. We broke their rules which we were aware of, those rules have penalties attached, they'll likely apply those penalties... what's controversial? The EFL didn't cause a points deduction, Chansiri did, it's that simple. 100% blame at his door and his door alone.

I genuinely don't think he realises how much trouble he's in when the IFR arrives. Both the IFR and the Government are going to want the IFR to flex their new muscles and hit somebody hard, and his poor mug has been in their sights for months. Dead man walking, could make for a great spectacle.

Why would they do that, as far as I'm aware there's no precedence for that? Points deductions aren't designed to relegate clubs, that can just be an unfortunate and unintended consequence. As the EFL want Chansiri gone like us, they'll look to do whatever encourages a sale the most and that's applying it this season to a club that almost certainly is getting relegated without the deduction anyway.

Trying to blame the EFL for our current predicament is ridiculous. All blame lies solely at the feet of one man. Imagine the audacity of the EFL enforcing the rules that have been in place for years and that the club were fully aware about that we have been breaching all over the place.

As far as EFL are concerned we don't need to be able to compete, we need to be able to field a team and fulfil our fixtures, which currently we can. They're under no obligation to help Chansiri improve the squad and I'm glad they're not.
