  1. It won't happen - the fanbase is embarrassing and apathetic, and those that go on would get boo'd.
  2. That’s a few performances now he’s put in and he’s looked a proper asset. Will be a great asset in League One - and I don’t mean that as a criticism. Heads it, kicks it, gets in front of it. When we go down, it’ll be good to watch him develop at that level.
  3. Been watching my local non-league team this year over in Manchester and it’s been great. Totally different experience but enjoying having a beer and watching with good friends who support different ‘big teams’. doesn’t take away from supporting Wednesday - if anything it’s made me feel more engaged with football. It’s fun to watch and competitive.
  4. This is where I’m at. I feel like the club I’ve always loved is already gone, and to be honest had been heading that way post-COVID. I don’t see a kinship with the people who support Wednesday anymore - the Chansiri apologists are happy to let the club die.
  5. I wasn’t wrong. Our club has a disease - we deserve what we get with too many idiots allowing this to happen.
  6. I appreciate they have been advised by the EFL not to strike or to create further punishments on the team. How about this - how about the team delay themselves coming out onto the pitch for 5 minutes, in solidarity with the fans? I appreciate this would just delay kick-off, but given some context I think it would be a powerful statement - especially when disrupting broadcasts etc. You'd hope the worst punishment would be a fine...
  7. This is the bit that I've spotted throughout that people haven't cottoned onto Wandisco Dave Richards being involved is not the same proposal as the Textor interest - the Instagram follow set everyone off down that avenue...
  8. I genuinely think there’s an apathy at our club that’s nigh on a disease. The reason this is happening now is because everybody’s sat back, done nowt and accepted it. We’re in an extinction scenario at the moment and people still can’t be arsed participating.
  9. The ingress of 3,000 people isn’t going to safely take longer than 5/10 minutes (I work in large scale events) You might miss ten minutes by holding you and your kids back - but the alternative to not making a stand is potentially having no club to watch in 2026/27. There’s no perfect solution that suits everyone - they’re not calling for mass pitch invasions, or throwing objects, or complete boycotts which are all far more risky and destructive. Just take an extra 5 minutes and know you’ve done your bit
  10. If it’s such an issue, why not wait back with your children and take your seat a minute or two later so you avoid the rush? That’s the sensible thing to do whilst working towards the greater good for the club.
  11. Can 100% confirm this will fall flat because there’s too many bootlickers in the fanbase.
  12. Was thinking about starting a thread about this. Why, as a club, are we so apathetic? We’re watching the thing that ties our families and livelihoods together being torn apart - but no one can be bothered to do anything. Have the years of being gaslit sucked any real hope out of us? Other clubs in half this situation would have hounded this cretin out of the city years ago - but our bootlicking fanbase backed him, and look where we are now. This is endgame now for 157 years of memories. And we only have ourselves to blame.
  13. I’ve got an awful feeling this is the ‘signed documentation’ Staton reflected on, online. Chansiri’s desperate at this point.
  14. Thankyou Danny. The best manager we have had in a long time and performed a miracle for us. Has massively improved / modernised the football we play with an abject budget for the league - a miracle last year and and an overachievement this year. I am extremely concerned for the future of SWFC, but thankyou Danny for giving us stability in the Championship this year.
